Rarity means nothing if there is no demand. I picked my favorites, and most were older midgrade keys over high grade popular books. Our selections were similar. Lost me at Invincible vs. 1st Sandman appearance. Hard choices with this video!!! More of this, please!!!

Some of these are super easy and some are really, really difficult. I think Golden Age trumps all books of similar value. This tracks historically just due to the scarcity of the books.

I always prioritize gold and silver age comics over bronze, copper, and modern. The rarer the book, the more it captures my interest. I’m not overly concerned about the grade. Rarity holds far greater value to me, both personally and as an investment.

Sent in my batman 423 came back a 9.2 white pager and picked up an asm 1 cgc 4.5 white pager last year to complete my asm run. All that left is to find my af 15 forever copy.

You can make an argument for stan to sign any marvel book but especially anything with spiderman on it as a co-creator. I used to think only get his sig on books he wrote but later regret not having his sig on more comics when i changed my thinking to this.

1) Superman 2) Cap, but super close 3) Punisher, but closer than I would have thought 4) Secret Wars (though the wrap is something I noticed right away) 5) Cap, easily 6) Strange Tales (but I hate the fact that the first app of Strange is not a cover app) 7) X-Men (I'm not a precode horror guy) 8) Action Comics easily 9) Give me the rarity of FF 10) TOS easily but I haven't watched Invincible so I have no relationship with that comic 11) Give me the Batman and $800

My picks : #1 I love me some Goldenage Superman but for that price I rather go with forst Moonknight . Book looks good in a 8.0 #2 tough choice, but I go with Hulk 340 . That is probably the best books to get signed by Todd. #3 ASM 129! Having that book in a 8 or higher i an all for . #4 secret wars 8 . That book in a 9.8 i feel is worth the pick up over just a cameo of Wolverine. #5 another tough but fun one ! Man this is tough but I think the signed Captain america book is my pick and a high grade is a plus . #6 another tough but first appearance signed by stan the man is hard to pass up even in that condition. Going with that . #7 red seal ! Pre code horror is rare so I pick that any day of the week ! #8 going with Action comics . Though a 9.8 is nice , early superman is hard to pass up . #9 lots of 9.8 ultimate fallout so I go rare over high grade. Ff 110 #10 I think this depends on if your a big invincible fan or not . I am not so i go with first iron man #11 I am goign with batman . It's one of my favorite Todd covers and it being a 9.8 and double signed sealed it for me ! This was a lot of fun and hope to see more !

It’s hard to start comparing on what book is a better buy.. it’s like saying is this song from the 70s vs 90s one. Nostalgia will always in most cases win out. Whether it’s music or a book…

Got a copy of xmen 94 in a cgc 9.4 , was a cgc 9.2 with Clairemont written on the inside cover sent it in for the jsa and it came back a cgc 9.4 jsa authenticated white pager. Picked it up for around 2k when it was a cgc 9.2. Noy a buyer of the book on the left as I'm not chasing pc books, yet 😂

Round 9 have both in my pc I picked up an invincible 1 raw for $300 years ago and 9.8ed it. I grabbed a tos 39 cgc 3.5 white pager last year to complete my iron man tos run. Although the tos is a good price point my copy at a 3.5 I paid around 9k for with white pages is a long term keeper. Not buying either of these but I'll sell the invincible 1 cgc 9.8 for the 3-3500 they are currently selling for.

Round 5 Own both picked up my asm 4 in a cgc 4.0 for $525 a few years ago and submitted my cap raw and got a cgc 9.2 for way less than $100. I only have signatures on specific books in my pc. So someone paid for those. Not at those price points for me.

Round 8 own both found the ff in a back issues bin for $20 came back a cgc 7.0 white pager and grabbed 3 1st miles when they came out 2 came back from cgc as 9.8s and 1 came back a 9.6 all for 10% off cover price. Not buying either of these but happy to have them in my pc.

The people who want a Stan Lee signature on a 1990 Spider-Man #1 are the same goofy’s who have surface level knowledge of comics and too much money to blow. Edit: that Red Seal looks cooler than half of what you had in the right hand column yet a ton of people wouldn’t pay $5 for it without knowledge of what it is. And I’m not going to roast you, but do you not think that Invincible #1 is one of the few modern books that will hold big value for the foreseeable future? For me that and the Walking Dead #1 are grails in any condition because they weren’t printed in huge numbers and they ended up bringing Image back in all reality.
