What a super kid's playground area. Hope it is well used. The brick or stone work at the Gridley store was spectacular.

The library has moved into the Gridley Store now. We purchased the building located on the corner of Highway 50 and Virginia and opened a bar. The one across from the visitors center. We would love to give you a tour if you swing through town again.
@kennysherrill65423 жыл бұрын
Well that was interesting, you need some bolt cutters and cut through the wire, just like escaping a prison camp and get in the castle and transmit your location so you can be rescued and all the while play the theme music from mission impossible. 😅😅😅😅 Great little tour Jenni 👍👍👍👍👍❤🇺🇸

😂 It’s like a fortress lol although I get why. Looks like people can’t help themselves to not carve the walls or destroy things inside.

It looks like a lovely little town, very quiet too.

Almost too quiet... but so many of these towns seem to be that way. I just hope I get to document them all before they disappear...

You sneak! You must have posted this seconds after I checked to see if you posted anything new! I've been sort of around Eureka (a detour during their 4th of July parade), and was surprised that they had more than one way to get a semi-truck through town! But I've always wanted to see more of Austin. Thank you, for that! ❤

Love little towns like that. I live near a old tiny town with about 10 Houses. Called Aroma, IN. I think that mine thing is called a Tipple, where they would haul out mine ore cars and dump them. I am deep into my Black Walnut harvest and then in November will finish up in time to go to another small town in SW Missouri to bury my ex bro in law. Navy Vet. He had Huntingtons disease. Avilla, MO. Been a tough 3 weeks. Head is still up though! Keep your Sunshine shining through! I will watch when I can!

I am so sorry for your loss Bob. You are working way harder than I am sir lol No worries! I will be here when you have a bit of free time 🐝

@@JenniGives This is hard work and I am doing it by myself. Good work out though. I should be able to lift a 70s Buick before long. :D Done almost 8 tons of walnuts so far. Ugh.

Just a couple of days ago we drove into Austin from east to west on US 50, let's say it's a very winding road and just once there were guardrails. Pretty scary to say the least with our vehicle, I can't imagine doing this in a big RV or 18 wheeler.
@JenniGives2 жыл бұрын
I know it SO curvy... they get snow too! That part would be even scarier. Did you make a pit stop? Were more things open?
@909Adventures3 жыл бұрын
Wow so cool Jenni i like how Nevada puts up there historical markers when they fence something off Vs California don't put very many of them up probably because it would more than likely get vandalized although i do find some makers in the hard to get to places. Thanks for sharing looking forward to the next video. Sticker graffiti lol i do this its only temporary.
@JenniGives3 жыл бұрын
Nevada doesn't replace them I heard, but they could of fenced behind that marker easy. The marker was there first. I've got an historical markers only vid coming up, will look more closely at the sign while editing. Also where do you get your stickers???
