Would You Take Peru's Longest Boat Journey? 🇵🇪

We left the city of Pucallpa and began the long journey to Iquitos the jungle city of the Amazon. Slight hurdle however... in order to get there we had to take a 28 hour ferry through the rivers and jungles of Peru. Safe to say it was a brutal adventure! 🇵🇪

ive done a 38 hour train ride in kazhakstan in unbearable heat and it was brutal,in a room the size of a prison cell in england with 4 people one of whom was obese, it got so bad it was difficult to breathe but at least we had beds and it wasnt so bad during the day and there was a toilet for my old man bladder, but that trip you just did looks rough i dont know how benjimum was so cheerfull, he is 10 years older than me and way tougher.

@@countotuscany7061 it's from a famous BBC TV show, where an awkward radio presenter (Alan Patridge) shouts "A-haaaaa" at his guests. The running joke is how inadvertently offensive he is to everyone around him. The "A-haaaa" comes from his love of ABBA and the song "Knowing Me, Knowing You". I've probably explained this really badly. 🙃

Wow, that was brutal. I flew to Iquitos from Lima in July 2022, was visiting friends before in Arequipa...where I worked years ago. I wouldn't have taken that boat 😅 Mental in those seats and the loud music. You will love the jungle. Enjoy

Just wanted to let you know I really enjoy your travel vlogs with interesting, and often very dangerous places. Right now I am really enjoying the Amazon and Peru excursion. I really wanted to do that back around 1987 and I was in much better health and only in my mid 20s but it was much more dangerous then and no cell phones or a good way to film it unless you wanted to carry around a huge VHS camera. Back to the videos, you put out great content and I follow you and watched mostly all of your videos and think you’re funny when you enter some of these areas and actually tell the truth about the smells and conditions these people live around. They all seem basically like nice people all over your travels and yet I can spot people even in your videos I can tell you couldn’t trust. Take care and be safe. Mr.Bald also puts out great videos of course but he has his style and just happy you both decided on South America. I hope you both get to Rio because of the huge festival going on now. It would be wild and crazy and expensive. 😂✌🏼👍🏼

You guys got ripped off on that motocarro in Nauta. They charged you 80 soles for a trip that should have cost you 2 soles. Enjoy Iquitos. It is dear to my heart and one of my favorite places in the world. You should take a rápido boat to the brazilian border. You can be in Colombia Brazil and Perú at the same time. It is a fun adventure and a much shorter trip. And that chicha music is the best. I listen to it every day live streamed from Iquitos. Cheers and enjoy
