Would YOU Try Cold Beet Soup? Tasting a Vegan Aukstā Zupa in Riga, Latvia! 🇱🇻

This bright pink soup is so beloved in Latvia - absolutely iconic and perfect for instagram!
But with kefir, and often egg and sausage in the ingredients, it's not usually suitable for vegetarians or vegans. We were keen to try it though, so we headed to Mazā Terapija, a totally vegan restaurant in Riga, Latvia to see how their entirely plant-based version of this Latvian classic tasted. We start our journey at the House of the Blackheads, and wind through Riga's beautiful Old Town before coming across the restaurant and their epic cold pink soup! The beetrood is marinated before. These pinks didnt even try the real deal. Kefir can not be reproduced by vegan methods.

the negative assessement is because you dont eat and try proper food. Eat the duck what you want, but don’t compare Cartrier witha cheap brand. You will always eat less tasty and and less nutritional.
