Healthy male energy is very charming. Generally women like men who consider them as equals. Whereas "toxic masculinity" is where the person doesn't like his feminine side or he has suppressed it for too long and that is why they won't respect females in general.

This opened my eyes about some of my ways. The past 6 months I’ve been trying to please this girl, from the moment we started talking I had that thought that I wasn’t good enough and that she wouldn’t accept me which led to me catering more so to her and what she wanted rather than being my natural confident self and enjoying the company. I completely lost myself in the process of trying to be with her. I became extremely indecisive even when it came to things as simple as saying a word or answering simple questions. I wasn’t focused at all on my hobbies and was more so worried about saying something stupid or saying something that might offend her, my whole life was me thinking about her and the potential relationship. I became extremely clingy and started to worry about what she was doing when she wasn’t with me, or if she was actually asleep when she said she would go to bed. This is not the way I want to be, I realize that I have lost a lot of masculine energy and today that starts to change. Ima carry myself different and ima assert myself a lot more and take more chances when it comes to everyday life. Focus more on me and let the rest come naturally. Forcing yourself to be a nice guy is not going to make things better for you especially when it comes to a potential relationship. Never change for anybody but yourself.

Mia Meow “UNDERSTANDING BRINGS FORGIVENESS “Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.” Everyone makes mistakes. If we are mindful, we see that some of our actions in the past have caused others to suffer, and some actions of others have made us suffer. We want to be forgiving. We want to begin anew. “You, my brother or sister, have wronged me in the past. I now understand that it was because you were suffering and did not see clearly. I no longer feel anger toward you.” You cannot force yourself to forgive. Only when you understand what has happened can you have compassion for the other person and forgive him or her. That kind of forgiveness is the fruit of awareness. When you are mindful, you can see the many causes that led the other person to make you suffer, and when you see this, forgiveness and release arise naturally. Putting the teachings of Jesus and the Buddha into practice is always helpful.” - Thich Nhat Hanh from his book LIVING BUDDHA LIVING CHRIST

Some listen and some have to learn on their own. When you hear them teaching a friend, you know they really were listening. Teaching others is easier than ourselves sometimes. We’re all on our own journey, so having loving support, guidance and compassion; especially as they move out on their own into this world, letting go as a parent is difficult. Hi Aaron, my understanding of this is that masculine and feminine energies represent duality, which we are moving away from in 5D. Masculine energies have been dominant on the planet for a very long time, whilst the divine feminine has been supressed. We are now moving into a time of healing these energies within ourselves individually and collectively, to come into balance and wholeness. I am a woman with strong feminine energy but for me, there is nothing more attractive than a man in touch with his feminine side in a balanced beautiful way.

I am glad that you are showing the positive side of masculine and feminine energies. Many times when we think of masculine energy, the shadow side comes to mind of power and control. When you say “the feminine wants to be lead by the masculine” I think many masculines think this means they should control feminines. I don’t want anyone leading me lmao I want to lead myself 😂 I do want that comfort of masculine energy because I’ve never had it in a healthy way, so the idea of being safe resonates. There’s a big difference between “letting a man feel like a man, and a woman be a woman” (gender roles) and tapping into the energies in a healthy way for your specific partnership. I think more people need to understand this.
@fireshine41054 жыл бұрын
Yes this is exactly what I have been thinking! I saw many women and men on the internet saying that when they life in this plurality, if they be more feminin that will also mean that they are going to life in these old gender roles! It's like: don't be so independent, be more feminin = don't start your own business, let your man do that and you can stay home and do nothing. THAT'S NOT WHAT IT MEANS! There are so many successful highly feminine woman out there and I think it's time that we include the term that every strong woman needs a strong shoulder. Because I feel like it's seen as though successful men need the support of their woman but if a woman wants to be successful she has to do everything on her own. Wich is not true. And I saw sooo many woman say that they want to go into their feminin power but if they will they can't build that business or those dreams. We all have both in us! And being an independent person is different from letting yourself be led by your man! (like him telling you to cancel this meeting or making a decision so you don't run into trouble cause the feminine just wants to create and explore and maybe doesn't recognize such things)
@Katie-ww8qk4 жыл бұрын
@@fireshine4105 that is so true, I’ve never thought about it that way. I definitely have that mindset of needing to do everything on my own 😅 but everyone needs support! And I would much rather be in my feminine energy tbh than overexerting myself (which i do all the time). It so important to have that balance, and it’s nice to have a partner that is supportive of that. I see so many weird comments on the internet too, toxicity and misunderstanding is everywhere unfortunately! Learning about how to balance our own energy would help so much and also to understand healthy relationships in general

@MsMeGUka4 жыл бұрын
Yes thank god someone said the truth 😂❤ althoug what he says is partly truth. i can relate to being feminine with bit of wounded masculine. My dad was abusive in a multiple ways always cheating so that left me in fear that men arn't trust worthy and i have fear that love will leave me. That makes me more controling in a relationship beacause i lack to trust people. I understand that i need to work on that for my own good and happiness. However to think that u need to put yours self into this box in order to think that you are now healed is funny 😀 you don't need to feel guilty as a women if you are leading and assertive they are positive humen qualities for both gender. Same goes for a men . Men shouldn't feel less of a men if they are emotional and vulnerable. In lot of cases expectation and pressure that we put on our selves about what is a true feminine and true masculene can cause harm to our true identity. Every person is unique with both feminine and masculine and if you want to find a relationship thats hapy and fulfilling u should find a partner that matches u and isn't scared of masculine qualities u have as a women or vixe versa ❤

True but you're here on this earth playing a role, and part of that character you play has a particular biology(your sex) with a particular set of accompanying traits(your gender role if you will). Though God may have come here to play as us, we didn't come here to play as God if you get me haha you're not the unlimited, you're limited to certain roles/functions. It's not about eliminating the ego completely, if it was only that simple. It's about developing a healthy ego as opposed to a neurotic ego, becoming who you are meant to be so to speak. I've known about this for a number of years now and I've tried to explain it to quite a few people, the importance of masculine/feminine polarity, or balance in a romantic relationship. I tend to lose people fairly early in explaining it, especially the men. Perhaps it's not a masculine subject to talk about, so they get bored and tune out. Women seem more open to considering this stuff, from what I've experienced. Or maybe it's the way I'm approaching it. It makes so much sense though, I'm not sure why so many people out there fail to understand it or even take interest in it, with all the dysfunction we see in relationships now.

Ultimately we want to each balance both, so each person in a relationship has a balance of both. Does not need to be exactly balanced within each person, but each does need both masculine and femine energies, and healed.

Great insight! It now clicks how sexual trauma distorts our natural polarity

Unfortunately the society is creating feminine men and masculine women. This is creating a hell in the relationship when the natural tendencies are completely gone awry.

How so? How is society creating this? I sense a blame the women trope coming up.

This was so friggin helpful. 47 days after a separation of my husband (moving towards a divorce) and I totally see so many issues I had no idea were there. Obviously, I knew something was wrong but had no idea how to identify or correct it. Now I can work on myself from a new overstanding position.

I could never figure out how to balance I was always so emotionally sensitive, insensitive, leading more masculine when I felt threatened, insecure, I would switch between two people. I see where there is imbalance. This is such crucial information.

Women can’t trust in the masculine and have to become masculine to protect ourselves so idk about this. I feel like I can’t just start practicing surrendering to masculine energy in the world bc then I’d be abused and taken advantage of. It’s just sad the state of the world. Men and women have gotten so far from our natural feelings hormones thoughts etc. like when he said be more emotional express urself “dance” I’ve been taught that emotions is weakness and I shouldn’t show me express to other ppl how I’m feeling. It’s just a lot to hear that now I have to work on all these things when I’ve adapted due to the state of society today. Maybe this worked in the 50s but 2020 is a new age.

It works today bae. My leading energy is masculine and yesterday, i broke my heart and i let my masculine deal with that pain it almost killed me. All that close offness is terrible. My divine masculine didn't like that tho so i am better cos i have been able to heal the wounded masculine. Despite having a leading masculine energy, i once dealt with people pleasing. So it's really about letting go b. You are doing well, accepting as you are doing with this comment is a step so you are doing well. Applause to you.

I think this is something that a lot of ppl struggle with but in order to heal the root cause of the distrust we need to heal ourselves. When we have the belief that others can make us feel secure, loved, safe, or happy we give our power away. But if we truly understand that our emotions (joy, love, security, etc) comes from within us, we can understand that even if another person doesn't "show up" we've got our own back.

Negative Masculine energy is damaging. I too have been hurt by negative masculinity and having lost trust in men it was difficult. After marrying my husband he taught me to trust in a steady man who cared about others, who did nice things for me, and treated me kindly. Before getting married I felt like I had to act feminine to please my parents. I act more masculine than my adopted mom would have hoped for. My husband is okay with that because he usually has somewhat more feminine energy. Just because a majority of men are negative in their broken masculinity doesn't mean that they are all that way.

You have to be discerning, you can’t just trust any masculine. But the idea that the whole world is like this, that you can’t ever trust a man, only holds you back

I like how you say "practical and relatable" I think that men or women who are angry with the opposite sex, are making their own issues worse. It is harmful to direct fear and hate towards the opposite sex in general. Healing is within by accepting ourselves on all levels, becoming the best self we can be (our ideal life ) We shouldn't get hung up on the physical in terms of cosmetic surgeries, etc...

I'm a guy I have a natural masculine energy but I started to become more spiritual and that's when things changed.

Very good stuff, Aaron! A concise explanation of the subject, with some important points not seen elsewhere - I really liked your emphasis on how different aspects in life create further entropy in the internal struggle between masculine and feminine approaches. I think, only being mindful of such things can allow a person to know how to apply them in interactions consciously.

Access to both polarities is a powerful life way, according to many indigenous societies. As a gay man, this is my power to live in both of these polarities at the same time, without favoring or leading with one or the other. Its only binary thinking and overvaluation of masculinity in our culture and society that shames many of us out of our feminine polarity. I myself have a wounded feminine challenge with people pleasing and feeling unworthy however being in a career position of leadership, and having a more freedom centric life are allowing me to move into a more healed state with my masculine energies.
