ZANZIBAR, TANZANIA: Guide to PARADISE! The MOST Beautiful Beaches in Africa!

Zanzibar is a tropical island off the coast of Tanzania. The island has the most beautiful white beaches and sights in all of Africa. In this adventurous video, we take a trip as a family to this dream destination. First we fly from Tanzania to Zanzibar, then rent a car and visit the absolute highlights in this video: Nungwi Beach, Paye, Stone Town, Kendwa Beach, Jambiani, Mtende and Eden Rock. Before this you saw us in Asia and after Zanzibar we will cross over to the mainland to go on Safari. We go by jeep past all the animals through the most beautiful nature and also rent a camper to drive through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. We also visit Mauritius and Reunion by plane!
We make our journey through Africa during a world trip of one and a half years. We may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Australia and the Philippines . Zanzibar and Tanzania are already destination number 21 on the big trip. We have also been away from home for a year. Follow us on this world tour, first in Tanzania, from Zanzibar to the safari parks on the mainland and then to many more beautiful destinations in Africa! If you guys love beautiful African islands, I hope you're aware of Sao Tome and Principe. As Zanzibar is a beautiful sand island (for lack of a better term), Sao Tome and Principe are mountainous volcanic islands with the intermittent beautiful, and untouched, white sand beach. Banana Beach, for example.

You have shown that Zanibar is an out-of-the-way destination with truly wondrous white sand beaches and many gradients of turquoise-blue water. If one compares Zanibar to Sao Tome and Principe in Africa, then in French Polynesia, its like comparing the Marquesas to Bora Bora. They're both astoundingly beautiful, but one set of islands is for beach-loving tourists (Bora Bora), and the other set of islands are for those who prefer wild (romantic) and remote places.

Hi and thanks for your comment! Yes I would definitely recommend this place. We arranged the airport transportation with the hotel. Unfortunately it's hard to say what the price wil be to stay there, because it's fluctuating everytime. You should have a look at Booking.com for example.

Wir waren im November in Kenia. Kenia, Diani Beach ist auch ein wunderschöner langer weißer Strand. Wir haben von dort eine 3 Tages Safari nach Tsavo East und Amboseli gemacht. Auf Sansibar waren wir noch nicht, können Diani Beach aber auch sehr empfehlen,vor allem in Verbindung mit einer Safari.

Hi Oleg, the roads are safe to drive. However we did have the super corrupt police scandal. We got pulled over for 'speeding' when we where slowly driving behind a big truck. They lied and gave us a rule book where I had to put money between the pages and hand back the book. Really degrading and annoying, but we could give whatever we wanted, so not much. Still an unpleasant experience, but unfortunately part of Zanzibar. Local people told us to just drive past next time and don't stop.. crazy. Apart from this only good memories driving all around.
