I worked for Jaguar of Norway back in 1999 or 2000. Polished cars for 6 months, between studies and military. I can’t recall one, even back then, looking this clean! Wow!

back in the day, I was not keen on the 'new' XJ40 after the SIII. But these days I must admit to have a real soft spot for the survivors and this is a lovely looking car 👍

Beautiful jaguar. I have the xj 40S . A 94 in flmenco red. It runs a dream. The xj40 is such a great shape. Shame they had such a bad press on introduction to the world of jaguars.

Lovely survivor car. I had one about 15 years ago, N reg 3.2 straight six, baby blue metallic with cream leather, that was a low mileage minter. The car was almost too nice to use though and it became a bit of a nightmare because you dare not use it incase it gets dirty, dented, scratched. I ran it for 18 months then petrol went up too much and it was costing a fortune so moved it on. Expect it would be even worse with this one, it’s that nice, what a beauty. If I had the room and could keep it for shows and Sunday drives it could work. Nice find.

Incredibly beautiful car 😍 I remember when the XJ40 came out: I was such a fan of the S3, so of course I hated the XJ40! Seeing an example like this today makes me realize what a perfectly proportioned and beautiful car the XJ40 was! I'd love to park this XJ40 in my garage beside my XK8 - but I'm afraid I can't afford to feed two cats 😉

I had 2 XJ40s. 2.9 & 4.0. The 2.9 was really slow. I also had the next model (X300), which was a much better car. I also had the Kingfisher Blue, which is the best colour I think. It's green/blue in the right light.
