Hi Lois, I am enjoying your beautiful floral watercolors, so glad to have found you! Years ago, when I taught stained glass classes, our shop also began to explore "warm glass"/"fused glass" -- generally colorful glass objects such as bowls and platters. Hake brushes are a necessary part of the process and we sold them in a few different sizes. If you search online for vendors who specialize in fused glass supplies, you should be able to find hake brushes. ~Debbie

Over 25k! That’s impressive Lois and only 3yrs of watercolour painting. Well done, you must be very proud of yourself Lovely painting, I think all florals should be loosely painted- they’re much more expressive! I’ve noticed you using that calligraphy brush often. Looks like it hold a lot of water and makes very fine lines. I’m looking for something like that, as I’m not always satisfied with riggers.

I love my calligraphy brushes, especially the small ones, they do hold a lot of water and if you get one with a good point, you can paint really fine hair lines with practice. Mine are cheap EBay ones from China, highly recommended

It should e fine, it may buckle a bit but if you wet it evenly to start with it should flatten as it dries
