Thanks Gilly, the first two, I thought, are very pretty. It was good that you showed us how even the pros like you don't always have a perfect outcome. It encourages us to keep trying. I've been doing a lot of that. I've scraped and even washed my canvases. It's what we have to do if we want to learn and eventually be better at this. Thanks for all you do for us. Yesterday, for the first time, I used your recipe and did a Gilly pour, swipe, balloon kisses and rolls. OMG! It worked! If I were younger and in better shape I would have been doing cartwheels! I will get a better torch like yours. The culinary one I'm using does not do it as well. I also used a bit too much paint, so it's still not dry. But I am on my way to better pours thanks to your hints.

I just got a kit from artistry from Michaels. It was 30.00. Had gloves, pallet knives,5 flat canvases, drop cloth, popsicle sticks, glitters and about 8 bottles of ready to pour colors. I did everything wrong. I didn’t put down a base coat. I didn’t use enough paint. I didn’t pour it correctly. I went around in a biggish circle. It turned out pretty good then I tried to swipe it and ruined it. I scraped the paint off so I will try again tomorrow. It was great.

the muddy one, I would have added more yellow and white on top than balloon kissed it. I have done that and saved a few that way. it was a great background. just needed the finishing touches. don't be so quick to scrape it you can always do that.

Hi Gilly as always thank you for your Videos. I have now done 3 pours with the pre pour mont marte paints and all three cracked ( looked stretched ) cracked before totally dry. I am wondering if this has happened to you. Maybe I did not shake them enough. I love the Mont Marte and use them a lot. When I mix with normal Mont Marte with Floetrol I don’t have any issues. Your advice is greatly appreciated. Hope you are feeling better

Maybe add a little floetrol if thick but certainly and really good mix before pour 👍🏼

The pastel one is gorgeous and yes the dark one definitely needed a scrape sadly. It's been very windy here in Mackay too for about a week - wheelie bins keep going for a walk :)
