I brought one in November of 1970 my first car it was the SS 396 which was really a 402 I loved that car so much I took the tires off and parked it in the garage when I went away into the Army in 1971 so no one in my family could drive it it had the M 21 muncie tranny I am 71 now and still dream about that car

Looks like a nice tribute to the classic ones to me. But producing only 25 at $100,000 or more is for collectors only. More should be produced at realistic prices for all to enjoy.

Why not just produce them to sale to the general public people who want one of those rides. The ordinary working people can't afford to pay over a hundred thousand dollars for a replica of the Chevelle today.

Oh they are for real but it is just a Camaro with aftermarket Chevelle looking parts hung on it not a GM built car. Over 100K if I remember right. Some dumbass company was selling Challenger/Superbird conversions not too long ago. I saw one of those in person at a car show once. It was OK but it just ain't the same. Plus this snotty, rich, older but quite attractive woman owned it and it was like if you weren't in her 6 figure income level she didn't want to waste her time talking to you.

My parents had a 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu and we all loved it. They were going to give it to me for my graduation but sadly I wrecked it when I lost control in an ice storm. I'm still heartsick about it. As for bringing back the Chevelle I will believe it when I see it plus I think its wrong to make only 25 of them. I think they should be produced consistently based on demand. Many of us love this car but with what the company wants to do most of us will never be able to afford it.

The new Camaro? a joke. dodge charger? it aint a charger. challenger? not even close, now there's ten thousand of them. design a new muscle car w/a new name if you want to but leave our classics to be loved and remembered the way they were.
