What does -2/-1/-1/-1/-1 mean? At first, I figured it was how many loops u pull through while going to the right. But, that's not what I was doing. It was doing two and two and two and two and two. I'm probably sounded completely stupid right now, but can somebody please explain that to me

It’s definitely not a stupid question! I think she’s counting down how many loops she’s reducing every time she does a stitch since it all adds up to 6 and it has that minus in front.

I’ve not seen something like this done before, as I watched it again and again, I think she subtracts 2 at the beginning because as she draws up a loop to start the return pass she’s counting that extra loop on the hook so the first stitch reduces it from 7 to 5 and then one reduction for each stitch thereafter. Then she still has one loop on the hook. This is Tunesian crochet so it might be the way it’s counted, but it’s been many years since I learned it.

I rewatched this section several times; she is doing - Yarn over, pull loop through 2, yarn over pull through 1, YO pull through 1, YO pull through 1, YO pull through 1

@@jonifejes6815no, she's not. But, it doesn't matter, really. I just thought I missed something. 🤷‍♀️
