Yes, she takes on giants. Angelina takes on the best singers singing their best songs, and more often than not I like her version better. This is like her cover of Bohemian Rhapsody in the way she deconstructs the iconic song completely-and reassembles a tribute in a beautiful and respectful way that you know the original artist would respect and love. This hits on all cylinders: musically, aesthetically, visually, vocally. One of Angelina’s many talents is the ability to make you feel and understand the meaning of the lyrics in a way the original artist never intended. She’s the best singer I’ve ever heard.

Beautiful reaction, Zack. This was recorded pretty much at the same time as her cover of I Have Nothing, and she was 16,5 in both. The man on the piano is Rob Christie, a multiple Grammy award winner and nominee. He is the artistic director of her record label Republic Records' LA branch, and took on some kind of mentor role for her from the very beginning when she signed with them at age 14. Angelina plays both the piano and the guitar, and she is also said to play the violin and the flute. After having followed her for 10 years I have never seen her play any of the latter 2 instruments though. Btw, both this video and the previous were filmed at the same location. Well spotted. She also did a recording from the location, which goes alongside her cover of "My Funny Valentine" which she dropped on her Instagram on Valentine's day that same year. (So she was 16 years 1 month old). THAT one is one you NEED to react to. It is one of the absolute favorites by her for all of her fan base. Angelina (16) nailed this one from the start. The antique shop just pulled you into the classic/vintage Elvis song and gave it a feel of Graceland. Shaking the dust off of vintage music, black leather jump suit, red guitar-believe it is actually Rob Christie’s-and Priscilla Presley’s Beehive hair style, all relates back to the 1968 comeback special. Her two cousins and her sister Juliette show how important family is and her growth. The symbolism throughout the song was awesome. Love how Angelina cradled the guitar with her hip! Rob Christie is a Grammy winning producer and the director of studio operations at Republic Records, Angelina’s record label. He has accompanied her on piano since her signing with Republic Records! Zack, Angelina’s rendition of this song is what song writer, Mark James intended for it to sound like. He was not a fan of Elvis’ uptempo pop version, even though Elvis made it famous. Pianist, Rob Christie wrote the music arrangement while Angelina created the vocal arrangement.

Great reaction! Her Grandma, Mery Zamani, helped produced this. She used the same store (Melrose Gallery in L.A.) she used for her My Funny Valentine and I Have Nothing videos. Her sister Juliette was the older girl and the 2 younger girls are her Uncle Mike's kids, Aires and Athena. 2- time Grammy winner Rob Christie is on piano once again. He is also the music director of Republic Records, the music company she is signed with. The beehive hairstyle was to honor Priscilla Presley and the time period she met Elvis. The black suit and red guitar was a classic look for Elvis from his comeback concert. What a performance and homage to The King!

From the very first words, the warmth, tone, passion and sweetness that Angelina manages to instill in this mythical song are truly incredible, you just wish the song was much longer. Her phrasing, backed by her wonderful use of breath and her peculiar jazz tone, always fascinates me and gives me chills every time, I love this absolutely amazing, so personal rewrite of this iconic song, with so many Elvis tribute details. But I really appreciate your comments afterwards. 👍 Heart voice - I love this term. ❤ It's often the first time you fully understand the lyrics of a song - even the most famous ones - in Angelina's renditions, and occasionally she changes the entire meaning just through a different arrangement and the use of her voice(s) while using the same words and chords like the original. Which is a little scary considering her age (16 years old here) - even though this fabulous piano arrangement is by Rob Christie, she really knows how to work with musicians of all kinds. Here it is again, as Simon Cowel said of her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody: "I've never heard this song in this version before."

You hit the nail on the head that reactors and commenters all said when she released this a couple of years ago. She began and ended the song on the bridge section. Which totally set the mood. It’s definitely more melancholy than the upbeat original where you just tap your foot and don’t pay much attention to the actual words being sung. Angie plays piano very well too. Great reaction Jach! There's nothing she can't do if she really desires to do it. I'm waiting for the day where she does just her own music that she writes or that someone else writes for her that will be her originals. Another underrated but amazing artist who covered Elvis is a Canadian girl name Alexandra Porat. Her voice is top-tier!
