If you've never broken something irrationally you might have not gotten that angry. In my early 20s I threw a desk phone hard enough to embed it in a wall while working a call center gig. Somehow all I got was 3 days of sensitivity training cause the job was hemorrhaging people due to the workload.

The Tesla tangent was actually interesting because here in germany Teslas and electric cars have a better reputation. I wondered why that is and then a theory hit me: Distance + infrastructure. The distances you have to drive are on average shorter (America is really wide), so the shorter range is less of a problem. There are many specific parking spaces with charging stations everywhere and even companies have added charging station on their of their own volition, so charging is not a problem. Thoughts?

I just got married in July of this year. We actually got married on the DAY OF our 10 year anniversary together. Like you guys, we kept having set backs with health issues, family issues, and financial issues. In February, we were talking about what we should do for our 10th year together and I said, "fuck it, let's get married." One aunt is an ordained minister and another aunt helped plan the whole thing. We rented out a community center in a state park and just did like a potluck thing for reception. I only bring it up cause like you, I KNOW my family. Her and I are both pretty left-leaning in political beliefs (as do most of our friends) and the bulk of my family are right-leaning. We made it very clear in the invites that "while I'm glad that we live in a society that allows us to state our beliefs and I love how spirited folks can be, please DO NOT discuss anything political." Like we're pretty chill about things, but that was like the only thing we asked out of everyone. Three of our friends responded in text that if anyone got out of hand, they'd escort them out (one's a correctional officer, one's a bouncer, and other is just a big fat dude lmao).

I missed my cruise back in August. My flight from DC to Amsterdam was supposed to get me there at about 7AM for a 3PM departure. About an hour into the flight, they turned the plane around and returned to DC due to a fluid leak causing electrical issues. An hour after landing back in DC, they cancelled the flight. There were several others who were in the same boat (or weren't in the same boat, I guess). At that point, I just went home since there was no point in going on to Amsterdam.

The pibble probably has a small metallic mineral pocket and a small surge of statical electricity that keeps it afloat. But also magnetism.
@Fraxxxi19 сағат бұрын
no single static macroscopic magnetic field can be used to stably levitate an item. an arrangement of multiple magnets or a spinning magnet could levitate something, but it would be stationary and return to its equilibrium point when jostled - it couldn't float freely around an area as seen in the video.

40:10 As someone who lives in Arizona, i can confirm you will see golfcarts on all low traffic roads
@rmartinson1914 сағат бұрын
@40:13 "Is that the rich people South?" I don't think so. You can tell you're looking at a rich high school in America when the parking lot is full of brand new Teslas, Lexus', BMWs and Audis. When I was growing up, I was a lower-middle-class kid who went to a very upper-middle-class high school in the mid-2000s, and about half of my school's parking lot was filled purely by brand new Mustangs (this was when the fastback Mustang first came out), with the rest being an assortment of other - also mostly brand new - cars and SUVs. I suppose it's possible, though, if this was one of the states that raised the driver's license age to 18, in which case golf carts would probably be the best workaround vehicle. Otherwise though? Rich kids don't drive golf carts to school unless its actually illegal for them to drive anything else.

3:40 My stepmother dislikes gems. She thinks they are a complete and utter waist of money and has, on multiple occasions said fake ones are prettier because they actually sparkle more than real ones. For their wedding bands, my dad used a pair of pink pearls on gold. Funny thing is, she really likes costume jewelry, like the really hokey stuff, problem is she's super allergic to anything but gold and silver so she can't wear it.

pressing 1 in chat... 1:28 THE BEACONS OF GONDOR HAVE BEEN LIT!
@Everythingwillbefine-b3e3 сағат бұрын
1:28 No. Likely its not because of magnets. The rock pools down to a ditch, a lower point than the surroundings. Theres plenty of naturally forming gasses which are denser than air, which will pool down to the lowest point nearby. Such are carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide, Nitrous oxide and hydrogen sulfide. If a small pebble is porous, has air pockets, its going to float over the denser than air gasses. The reason i think its result from naturally forming gasses is that it floats over one specific spot that happens to be deeper than the surroundings and the odds for it to be because of a magnetic field is smaller than it being the result of denser gasses.
