+CheekyTam Hi Tam 😉 As for うめ塩こんぶ (umeshiokonbu), what you find at the center of the candy is a dried plum. The candy is basically a mixture of plum and konbu seaweeds (kelp) ;) hugs from Italy ;)

Not sure which America you are from but if you're from the states icebreakers makes a lemon gum. It's still quite sweet but it's a bit sour and has a touch of mint. Quite delicious.

Corn chips that are even slightly squiddy are too squiddy for me. I suppose if the manufacturer really wanted to draw attention to the squiddiness of the corn chips, they would have used a black food coloring to represent the squid ink. That coconut flavored caramel corn snack seems more like cheese doodles in size and texture, but without the orange powder and of course with a coconut taste rather than cheese. Looks interesting. Thanks for another fun video, Tam.

I don't mind squid but it just didn't work in corn chips for me. The coconut flavored caramel corn was tasty but yes they look like cheese doodles, a lot of the Japanese snacks are very deceptive with the way they look and some of the things I try (because of the language barrier) I never know if it is going to be sweet or savoury.

Hi again Cheeky Tam I've just been on that site Wow box and the lemon chewing gum you had was Fit's (Salt Lemon) Just in time for the summer, this special-edition gum combines the sour taste of lemon with a subtle salt taste. Also the chew you had with the funny taste in the middle was Ajiwai Puccho (Ume Sio Konbu) The beloved Japanese soft candy gets a traditional spin with this new variety , combining a hint of salt with the taste of sour plum. So the middle was sour plum not bark or leaves. I like the taste of sour plum it's weird and a funny taste for foreigner to get use to. Sekimoto Natural Pickled Plums with Perilla, 150 g £4.78 to eat with rice or Sokan Soft Dried Plum Snacks, 50 g £4.29 for snacking. from the Japan Centre in London but it doesn't ship outside UK and Ireland. Hi Heather, I love your long comment and extra information it helps others who read through the comments and want more detail about the products I try. I don't usually read up about anything before I try it, I like to see if my taste buds will work out the flavors (sometimes they let me down, usually when I'm not familiar with an ingredient) but overall I do okay at working out flavors. What is interesting is that via doing these taste tests sometimes I can dislike a certain food or ingredient and then after retrying it later on I learn/grow to like it. I guess it really is about what foods we are use to. Hope you are having a good week.

I got the information from the Wow box site and I thought you might like to know what Sour plum were. I think it's best to trust your taste buds first before you know what you are eating. I was trying to help out as sometimes you ask for information on things. I'm sorry if I got it wrong but I think you show is awesome and watch it everyone you add a video.

Hi Kylie I use a JVC HD Camcorder Model GZ-EX555BAA (I've had it for a few years now it is very reliable) there are more expensive better video cameras out there but it's been good to me and my editing software is Power Director 11 : )

I worked in a fish market for a year right out of high school and I got very elitist about my sea food from then on. Of course after work on the way home you could smell me coming a block away like the sea curled up and died on me!! I bathed in a metric ton of lemon juice that year. Should have bought stock in citrus commodities. I think I supported the entire industry. Lol
