Looks like a Carambole table, not pool. It's funny to me that you find everything so facinating, since I was taken to all these places as a child. I mean I get it, but for me it's just normal

"Karlsson on the Roof" is a children's book about a weird semi-magical flying character who lives on the roof of a building and befriends a lonely kid. Eric Carlsson got that moniker due to his penchant for flipping his car over so it landed on the roof.

The S or V metal signs on the wall is what attaches the floorboards to the walls. In medieval times they were made from two pieces, later on they were made of one piece

@@matshjalmarsson3008 yes I know that….thank you for taking the time to watch. 🤙

@@GarthLovesTRAVEL Well, I did not know that. I am sure I was told in UK they were for reinforcing opposing walls ie holding the structure of the house together, so metal rods or beams run between the metal 'S' internally. Maybe under the floor boards??

If you are into baroque castles I would recommend Magnus Gabriel de la Gardie's Läcko Castle outside Lidköping at Lake Vänern. If you like ghost stories, dare go to Engsö castle which is the most haunted castle in Sweden.

@@matswinberg5045 oh yes! That’s on my list with over 50 other castles and estates to visit 😂. Hopefully I will get there soon 🙏.
