Strange comment considering Mugabi fought Hagler 4 years before this fight and he was KOed by Duane Thomas right after Hagler. Mugabi got KOed 6 times. Deal with it

No way. Norris was coming off a brutal KO loss in 89'. He would have always been a bad matchup for Mugabi. Norris was an all time great junior middleweight.

Mickey Duff said they couldn't get Mugabi in the gym for this fight and he had only 2 weeks of sparring. Can you imagine Norris surviving a prime trained Mugabi? or even lasting 3 rounds with Marvin Hagler?

That's Mugabi's fault then for being a stupid douchebag. I think Norris beats him 10 out of 10 times. Norris all but decapitated him.
