it seems Bajaj wanted to make a 250cc motorcycle which could attract people who were previously planning to buy a 200cc bike at this price range. The lack of 6th gear and no 4 valve setup makes it look like Bajaj just wanted to dump a product which could sell well by being aggressively priced. This bike could be a lottt better if they made some serious changes with the engine performance rather than loading the electronic features which may not even be useful for many people other than giving them bragging rights
