Watching you experience this for the first time was an absolute delight. Your grin when they harmonized the "stay" gives me life.

(sorry that this is long) Ok. I opened KZbin for something specific and this popped up on my main page: I clicked IMMEDIATELY. I teared up watching you react to this song. I've been a die hard Trench fan since Shake Tramp. I've seen them 5 times in concert (this song in concert, btw, is PHENOMENAL), I legit drop everything I'm doing if a single drops, all that good stuff. They definitely are underappreciated and not enough people know about them. What you're hearing throughout the whole song is Josh's vocal range (like you said - Josh is the lead singer) and all the other harmonies are his 3 bandmates. Like the other comments say, they always have at least one MONSTER of a song on their albums that encompasses the entire vibe of the album. This song is my fave of theirs (the only one that has ever surpassed Fallout because that was #1 for a LONG time). It's sooooo haunting and it digs right into your soul (they took inspiration from Edgar Allen Poe for this album so it only stands to reason that it's very thoughtful). I'm so glad you enjoyed it and I'll check out your other MT reactions.

It's a very typical album closer for MT -- a big production that ties in all the songs from the album! One of my faves. You should also check out their song Astoria if you want a big album opener vs. a closer.

Definitely should check out Astoria. Astoria is life! 💜💜

Eleonara is the 1st song from this album, the name he’s given the “ghost” that was haunting him (who happens to be his now-wife, Amanda). So many people have reacted to their later work, but I’d love to see people react to their 1st album as well, showcasing their roots & how Josh has always killed it.

Not enough people know of Marianas Trench's talent and it makes me sad. Thank you for putting this out

Not many react to this band (let alone know they exist, If you’re In America). I love how you dissected it so clearly!

Dearly Departed, Astoria, No Place Like home. Go for all of them. They literally don't have a bad song.

Isn't it true that no matter how many times you listen to them, it's like it's for the first time all over again?

This is fucking awesome 😂 most of MT’s beginning and ending songs to albums are very long mashups of all the albums songs but if this is like your first time listening to them it’s not surprising it confused tf outta you and I loved it 😂😂 your confused faces thru the whole thing 😂😂

Ik I’m 7 months late, but, this entire album would be an amazing movie, honestly (And there 3rd album, Ever After) and Josh (The lead singer, also the one who’s also able to sing so AMAZING!) has sooooo much amazing talent! Meaning that he can literally sing any genre of music, pop, rock, jazz, punk rock, you name it. And It’s honestly so insane! (The rest of the band too!)

Please react to Lady Mine with Josh and Chad Krueger of Nickleback. Vocals are the best!

Marianas Trench is heavily inspired by Queens, but you can find shorter songs of theirs that are no less emotional, but also can be playful and sweet as well. If you're coming from Killing Kind, I'd suggest taking on Ever After and Astoria. For more playful songs I love Burning Up the most.
