@marilynmcleod11964 жыл бұрын
I only have few washi tapes as I never could see a use for them, as they never do stick very well! so now... you are going to MAKE me go out and buy some! I LOVE this idea so so much! I love how it looks thick and like it has glossy accents on top. What a great way to make little sentiments, tags, circles, decorations, etc. that look glossy. Also.. I was just wracking my brain on how to make some "buttons" that look like those flair buttons.. and now.. here it is! Put little vintage pictures on heavy paper, then laminate, then cut in circles using a stitched circle and voila! a neat looking little glossy button! But I do love the idea of using washi.. and even just paper scraps and run them through the laminator and then cut sentiments, etc. This is just the most awesome idea! Keep 'em coming!

I've watched a few of your laminator videos and have enjoyed them. There is something I have not seen you say, I may have missed it, but it is to save a lot of laminator folders, and the extra sheets of copy paper. I use pieces of laminator folders, cut to roughly the area I need to laminate, and place it over my image. Place the image and laminate piece inside a folded piece of parchment paper. Send it thru the laminator. Then cut out my item. I use it for stamped images. I stamp them, color with alcohol markers, place a scrap of laminate over, put it in the parchment paper, and send it thru. Then use the die or fussy cut. I keep all my scraps of laminate in the back of my package. Hope this makes sense.

I've had a laminator that has been sitting in a box for about three months and because of you, I finally got it out of the box and started using it. Bless your heart. It took me a almost a year to get my house packed up, sorted, fixed up and moved. It’s been a year and 9 months of getting unpacked and sorted and figuring out how to best use my space (about half). There’s still some boxes left to unpack and I can’t find some of my Christmas dies! All that to say that I understand the frustration you are feeling. I hope you love your new space as much as I do mine! Hang in there. To look on the bright side, would you ever have come up with so many ideas for using your laminator if you had easy access to all your supplies? Sometimes our situations challenge us to get even more creative! I am grateful for all the ideas I have been seeing lately.
