I think the wedge thing used to split logs
@realnikonlover6207 Жыл бұрын
Exactly what it is. A wood wedge log splitter. I've used them many times.
@marthamitchell9452 Жыл бұрын
@@realnikonlover6207 unfortunately so have I 😂. I like the 4 sided ones better though. I know a lot of people that live in cities think that you split all your firewood with an axe. I prefer the hydraulic wood splitter if I have more than a few pieces to split. We had a wood cook stove also that you had to split the wood down a lot for.

13:17 the gold one is called a blade bait. Majority have multiple small holes to tie your line to; some have just one or two, others have three or more. Depending on which one of these holes you tie to, it gives you a different bait action

I had to scroll well down to find you, but I concur. It looks very much like a splitting wedge, but given its size, I think it would be for larger tasks than firewood, the ones I've seen and used were much smaller. The similarity is the groove down the center, though.

I remember those long, thin lures but darned if I can recall their names. I believe they were $10.00. This was back in the 80's. Another thing I remember from watching your videos is that I had a few lures that were made in the 30's and 40's that I had inherited from my grandfather. They were real wood, I gave them to my niece's husband for his birthday. I think he made a mount for them and hung it in their bedroom. You've got quite the collection there yourself. There's a lot of eye-grabbing colors lying there.😲😄

You need to make a magnet bar . Where you put magnets on a bar then lower behind the boat pull it slowly . Imagine how many you would find.!!!
@PicklesForNoOne Жыл бұрын
I've seen small bar magnets meant for holding pots and stuff in the kitchen that come with holes in them for screws. Assuming their rating is true, it would be more than enough for a fishing lure. Maybe try and get a bunch of those and attach them to each other to make a really long bar and then use two ropes on each end and drag the thing for a bit. Probably be able to catch lots of lures at once, assuming the thing doesn't get stuck. They're not too expensive either just to try.... Food for thought.

At the beginning of this video i thought you might need a magnet bar for your dash to hold the little keep-able finds....then when it came to the end, I don't think it would have helped at all.
