The reason of no subtitles in Malayalam in major Arabic conventions, is a conscious decision made by the makers, to get the exact emotional feel of what Najeeb felt. This is my personal feeling. Not having a subtitle for non Malayalam viewers is not justified. I think it is released on other languages as well.

I’m truly grateful to my Malayali mix Tamil husband for introducing me to the Tamil and Malayalam cinema as it’s a gazillion times more enjoyable than trashy Bollywood films. Prithviraj is my favourite actor and one of India’s finest actor that doesn’t just act for a living, he lives for it. He’s a true method actor. A legend that will never be forgotten even after centuries has passed by. This movie made me to feel grief, sorrow and agony of Najeeb as he’s an innocent man that was abducted by a selfish Muslim Arabic man who has no compassion or empathy whatsoever. This type of ill fate should not befall on anyone as it’s too cruel to even look at. Both Prithviraj Sukumaran and Blessy deserves a standing ovation for this amazing work. God bless their hearts for sharing the truth of victimised workers with the rest of the world. Prithviraj has proven it to all of us that he is a true hero for utilising his platform and fame to create awareness for everyone on the underprivileged worker’s plight.❤

The reason why it's not been able to bloom ( initially) is due to the low number of malayalam speaking audience compared with other languages. But this is changing with OTT and the immense word of mouth publicity that it receives.

@@TimeShow-nt9bg That's great. It is a good thing that such movies are coming up and are getting the deserved attention. I have seen most of the above movies and have enjoyed most of them ( Bajrangi Bhaijaan, 12th fail , Sita Ramam) . But these kinds of story films become box office hits only on a rarity and sometimes because of less starcast don't even get the deserved attention. That needs to change. Nobody is crying here brother. I said other industries can take inspiration from Malayalam films. Isn't that how art works? What's wrong in that? When somebody does something very unique... others are bound to notice and take inspiration or get inspired from this. What's the issue ? Also to your last statement, the reason why Malayalam films had not been getting that much popularity was because of the small number of malayali audience that we have compared to other states. This situation is changing quite fast and is not the case now thanks to OTT and the immense word of mouth publicity that it gets now.

My god this reminds me of my time as a cabin crew with Air india. We used to fly to many Saudi Arabian sectors, especially from Kerela. the customs in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah (the sectors i flew most) used to take away our passports and give us one paper with our flight details. One such flight to RIYADH, we were standing at customs post-flight and I saw the immigration guy beating these passengers with sticks to make them stand in line. most of them Indians. A lot of Filipino girls work as helps and they are subject to long working hours, it used to break my heart to see these people leaving the comfort of India to serve a country which does not even bother about these people's existence. It has been 10 years i left my job and i hope things have changed since.

I just watched the movie yesterday. In the first minutes where he struggles to communicate in Arabic, I saw every audience including me trying to tell Najeeb the translations (Arabic to English subtitles). Half hour in, and I was crying so hard. The people sitting next to me were sneakily wiping tears. During the interval, I went to washroom to cry and stocked some tissues for the second half. A truly horrifying movie. However, while you all praise and recognise the efforts of Prithviraj which he deserves, let us honor Mr. Najeeb Muhammad who endured the movie in real life❤
Right from the time I have started following this channel, first time I didn’t hear the term “Underwhelming Aspect” in your movie review!❤️
