while I enjoy the positivity, the one nitpick, just one, that I have is saying the cash shop is purely cosmetic. It is not. You can buy in-game gold with real money via the WoW token.

2369 rated Rank 14 Warrior here, 700 days /played by Cata, whenever I take a break and return i have zero clue WTF to do end up having to watch videos, read guides, then i gotta grind for months, the time sync required is ridiculous how can you play a game for 700 days at high level then feel like a total noob on return.

I mean if you knew everything when you came back that would mean nothing has changed, and if nothing has changed then it is the same old stuff over and over. The game should change and morph over time to keep it interesting. If there was nothing to learn would it really keep your interest? I know I would be done within a month if there was nothing new to learn.

It's always been about grinding but now they took every last bit of excitement out of it. Before you'd grind and get a new piece of gear it might only look a bit different but that's a whole lot compared to grinding materials to upgrade a piece of gear, then grinding to get a higher tier of the same piece of gear so you can upgrade it all over again. WoW is dead

Im having a blast with Retail. Even after playing since WotLK and taking countless breaks, right now is the most fun I've ever had. I never feel like im grinding, I can level in any zone I want whenever I want, queue into a dungeon or battleground and get immediately thrown into one, I can spend all my time exploring and running old content or RP with the huge community on the server. Now more than ever I feel like my character, his RP story, and the exploration of the world have never been more accessible

3 minutes in and its just nonsense missing the point, grinding for nothing to grind is not talked about but instead praised, content draughts in a "fast paced" version and SoD with nothing to explore as everything is meaningless - since u just go to ah and be BiS (no grind here neither, 10hr grinds for ur best runes and BiS items isn't a grind). nah ur just dickriding for cloud

open world content in retail is boring. It's not challenging no matter how you look at it. Once you trivialize the content and difficulty it gets boring really fast.

@@venarioo I mean, I agree it should be more difficult, but I don't think classic is a good compairson, I played both. Classic isn't hard as far as leveling is concerned, it's just slower.... much slower.... Hell, I'd even say classic is actually EASIER than retail due to how simple the rotations are.

@costelinha1867 well You are right kinda. Because our overall character power doesnt allow us to solo a lot of stuff therfore event forcing us to group. That's more social i guess. Retail, in open world is only about tagging mobs and this is its biggest drawback i think.

@@costelinha1867 no it's not. During leveling the rotation doesn't really matter. But there are single quests you cannot plow through solo in a matter of seconds. I can pull 20 elites at once and live. Never is there a sense of danger or close calls while leveling.

If cash shop offered cosmetics ONLY. Instead. it offers WoW Tokens, which can be then traded for in-game gold. It's nothing more than P2W with an intermediate step.

Well i get Your point and its true, but what do You need gold in WoW? To buy some entry level gear or couple of crafting stuff. Rest is just cosmetics, mounts and stuff like that. Its not like You can buy BIS items from AH.

@@venarioo From my experience the gold you buy with WoW tolkens is mostly only good to buy cosmetics, you still need to farm endgame content to get good gear like everyone else. It's not pay 2 win.

@XPISTOS-ANESTH hard. You wither do no damage or get a perfect build and reak havoc. Super fun, but it's going to take you probably 10 tries to get a descent build. But don't let that deter you! Leveling to 60 takes about 2 hours for me and you can level in arenas.

@@Scriffer thank you for the reply I just burnt out of sod because as a PvP player I have nothing to do. No arenas no rbgs an empty world after the new phase system I got my exalted wsg and only AB left for me but no gear from there and even the tabart is from phase 3. Is sad because phase 1 was a blast I made so many friends who most of them quit and now I found myself with nothing to do that's why I was asking I appreciate your reply.

@XPISTOS-ANESTH I'm this game you can find "bloodforged" items like say tier 1 raid gear, but the stats have been switched to pvp power. And they don't bind on pickup or most of the time equip either. So you can gear up fast. Also you can buy a while pvp set with honor points super fast. Like 5 or 6 arenas and go buy a piece. There is also hardcore mode that allows you to steal gear from other players on a kill. Or loose your own. And zones where "honor pvp" is enabled. Where once you attack someone, they are locked into combat with you and Noone can interfere. Good luck. It's been hellaciously fun. Even if I don't have a crazy build, yet.

Ascension wow was the only thing that brought me back to WoW since i was tired of retail obligatory tasks for progression in shadowlands... I really like your content, ty for all the builds and guides! Btw, what a new player as me should do to progress and collect more cards? Can you do a guide video teaching how to farm ascension marks? I really want some cards but I lose too much time to prestige... Oh and another noob question, how do I get to Silvermoon? If I buy the Silvermoon return stone will I be able to go there? As a Blood Elf main I miss my homeland 😂

I haven't played for a long time but back then there was a teleporter between Undercity and Silvermoon. Undercity teleporter was in the Lordaeron keep courtyard, western side

Hey Man. You cant get to silvermoon zones as Elune is on vanilla content ATM. As we progres to Burning crusader everything will be avaliable. That is also why Blood elves start at undead zone. When IT comes down to cards its a good idea. I wilk mąkę a vid about it.

I think it's time for you to find a new game as you sound miserable playing any form of wow. Give ascension a try, it is definitely a change of pace. But if that does not grab your attention and feel enjoyable then wow is just not for you anymore.

I can't speak to what retail is now, as I haven't played it since the first few days of Shadowlands..... but Classic isn't the most exciting game either. It's pretty boring a lot of the time.

I did not like the fact that some emotes like moan suggestively or whistling at or spitting on was taken away. Some flirts were also taken away. If I own blizzard, I would bring them back. Before, developers didn’t give two fucks about complaints and just went with what they thought was fun. When players began complaining, wow went down hill.

@@OldSkoolGeneral I was pvping once and I kept killing this night elf priestess and I spat on her when we fought. During those times, u cannot have 2 opposing factions on the same realm. She literally made an account and cursed me out in whispers. Good times😂🤣😁.
