Hi There all you Lovely Ladies and Handsome Gents! It's SUMMERTIME and I'm back today with a few summery fragrances from my collection. Of course you know that anyone can wear any fragrance at any time but for these I chose mostly lighter or more floral fragrances. Most of these are classics but a few are newer and many are affordable for most budgets. Thanks again for watching and don't forget to let me know what's your SOTD today?!?
Thanks for all you do!

Coming from you Frances, that's quite the compliment because you are very refreshing!!! Yes I have come to realize that vintage fragrances really are my interest. Especially because I have all these great memories of them intertwined with my life.(I guess we all do) but I really forgot those years of my life and it's fun to get to talk about them now! Thanks again!

I love hearing your comparison notes on the reformulations of classic fragrances. Sometimes they're still good, but it's so hard to know which ones! Many have been destroyed by reformulation.

I have a lot of memories associated with Anais! One of my best friends in high school wore it and then I wore it for years! 🥰🥰🥰 This sounds silly, but I still have a ceramic cat that they gave away as a GWP in the late 80's or 90's. I am such a gwp person! LOL!!

Anais is so soft & beautiful. I wish I knew what the original smelled like. Up late with really bad dental pain. In the process of getting a bridge & have 2 temp crowns. Hating life at the moment but enjoying your video's. Thanks again for all the great recommendations. I hope you start feeling better soon. 🩵

Hey I am totally sympathetic to dental issues! I had a great dentist where I used to live but now am having a little difficulty finding one where I live now. Hey if you have any dental problems it might be good to swish Oregano Oil in your teeth for a few minutes a day. I usually do. Sometimes when I've had a sudden toothache or swelling with pain the Oregano Oil helps. BUT Oregano oil is really strong and can be difficult to use at first because it's really strong and burns a little. I went to a naturopathic doctor who said she takes Oregano Oil every day. That sold me on it because she's my age but looks way better LOL!!!
@RachelleLove81
@RachelleLove81 20 күн бұрын
@talktothehandreviews I didn't know you could use Oregano oil for pain relief. Actually been using clove oil. I have an autoimmune disease, similar to lupus and some of the meds they put you on destroy your teeth. Thanks methyltrexate! Another side effect of the illness is losing your eyesight. It's scary & I need new glasses yearly. Going to be wearing coke-bottle lenses soon. I fully understand your struggles with that. I've had the year from hell this year. Lost a lifelong best friend, nearly lost my mom 2 months ago and lost my brother while she was in the hospital. Scent therapy is how I've been practicing self care to get out of this funk. Waiting for the mailman to drop off a new fragrance always brightens my day & it's way better than eating your emotions, or drinking them away. Getting better at this life thing, I think.... Only took me 43 years. 😉

@@RachelleLove81 Hi Rachelle! I'm so sorry to hear about losing your best friend and all the stuff going on with your mom and condolences for the loss of your brother! Strange how when people leave our lives some part of us and the world we knew with that person goes too. It's so weird that you mention that you have an autoimmune and are on Methyltrexate because the doctors though I had Rheumatoid Arthritis but now they think it might be Lupus!! I have testing for it next week and if I have it they will put me on Methyltrexate!! I already have Glaucoma so I have some issues there. Did you take Hydroxychloroquine? I've been on it now for about six months along with Prednisone and once I started taking the hydroxychloroquine I've been in much less pain! I'm so thankful for it! Yes what I've heard about Oregano Oil swishing in the mouth is that (and I don't know if this is true but It did help me) If you have excessive pain in your teeth a lot of times it's because of bacteria around the problem tooth which makes everything painful. When I had some bad teeth pain and swelling I did that and swished in my mouth for about 20 mins and the swelling and pain went away. (Not saying it takes the place of a dentist but if you find yourself in pain It may work for you too but as I've said I don't remember where I heard that. Nowadays I take it every night. Right now I am swishing it in my teeth for 20 minutes then swallow it. This is an odd conversation and I hope I'm not falling too far down the "too much information' rabbit hole. LOL! Thanks for your reply!

@talktothehandreviews My mom has RA and I have AS. In my case, I'm fairly certain it's genetic. They thought I had Lupus at first too and getting the answers you need can be super frustrating. It took me about 4 years to get a proper diagnosis but I'm in Colorado and 2 years of that was just trying to get insurance to approve an MRI. The rest of the time I had to wait 6-8 months to go see a rheumatologist. I know you're well aware our healthcare system is garbage. I lost my dad at 32 for similar reasons you lost your mom. He was 4 months away from getting Medicare when he passed. He had COPD and all the clinics would ever do, was weigh him, take his blood pressure and send him home with ibuprofen. It's total bullshit. The amount of elderly here who go hungry because they have trouble covering the cost of medication is stifling. I've joked about moving to Canada a lot lol. Sorry for getting off topic but it's nice to talk with someone who understands. Inflammation from auto-immune diseases is what causes all the health issues. It's essentially your body attacking itself and the best thing you can do is try to follow an anti-inflammatory diet. It makes a huge difference in how you feel and can help prevent many of the issues that come along with being chronically ill. Try to abstain from alcohol, simple carbs & sugar. Dairy and red meat can also make you hurt worse. I've not been on hydroxychloroquine sp? But I've been put on a few different biologic injections & meloxicam, sulfasalazine & methyltrexate. It's good you're on prednisone. That's actually what really takes down the inflammation levels and helps get rid of pain. I've been dealing with this crap for over a decade now. I'll be sending healing thoughts your way and if you have any questions, please don't be afraid to ask. I'm glad we met Mrs. Bo. 🩵

@@RachelleLove81 Hi Rachelle! Wow thank you for commenting on how hard it has been for you to just get insurance lined up to get an MRI! I try to warn Canadians that they don't want to trade for a for-profit system like in the US. One rich-ish old Canadian man actually argued with me that if he needed an operation he could just sell his car to pay for it. ‼‼‼‼ He has no idea that even his HOUSE probably would not pay for a surgery! Yes I'm so thankful to have gotten Canadian health care. I love the USA and never thought I would move away from Los Angeles but then I met my Hubby and we moved to his home, Canada. Do you know, at first I assumed he wanted to move to the US because you hear that everyone wants to, right? But I was surprised to find that he never had any intention of moving to the US! As I've said, the Canadian health care system saved my life! I'm sorry to hear about what happened with your dad, but you're so right that it takes so much red tape to just get to see a doctor! Canadians don't really seem to know how lucky they are! Thanks for all the great information on your medications! I appreciate it! Hey I've been on the Prednisone for a year now but they are weaning me off of it because it can mess up your bones. BUT I have really improved on the Hydroxychloroquine. I actually can't believe it. It has helped me more than the Prednisone. I regard it as the reason I am able to be so mobile again and it has really taken away a lot of the pain. I highly recommend it! Thanks for all the great info! I look forward to chatting again!😁😁😁
