Hi Michelle!!! Yes I know what you mean about feeling sort of hypocritical because I am the same. I can't stand the way lobsters are treated and it makes me sad to see them in tanks at the grocery stores, but I do love lobster! I mean, IT'S LOBSTER!! I am on a high iron and protein diet now because I was diagnosed with iron deficient anemia (among other things). The doctor said, "don't you guys like to eat beef". That's not something I would ever expect a doctor to say! 🧐🧐🧐

I get the feeling that there is a stigma about it and I think it's just because people don't really know it. I had someone tell me that it's a 'creepy MLM marketing scheme'. I asked them why they thought that and they never replied. See I think that's a lot of the Avon perception but I'm out to change that because the Cruelty Free and Not owned by Bernard Arneault are big things for me, although I myself have certainly thrown plenty of coin at Ol. Yes I think Avon has largely thrived because of people (mostly women) who worked in offices. I know some sell it through their church groups etc. I don't really ever plan to do any of that. I just thought there are a lot of reasons to consider it and the biggest one for me is the Cruelty Free aspect and the fact that it's not owned by the fourth richest person in the world LOL! I don't have anything against Bernard Arneault personally, it's just that it IRKS me that all of us who love these famous brands are giving all our money to the same guy. I didn’t really do that well in sales… Lol… I did a few home shows, make up for fashion shows done by retail stores in a local mall and private make up consulting for individuals. I did a few make up for weddings for friends and family, that’s what I enjoyed the most.

Hi Jada! Thanks so much for the kind words!!! I am actually not really trying to sell Avon to you guys, but I do want people to consider it because of it's cruelty free stance. They even have a Smail Mucin product and I asked to make sure that snails are not harmed to make the product. They're not! They live in some little environment where they glide along and their 'stuff' is collected. LOL. I have not tried it, I'm a little wigged out by that but I am glad to hear that no snails are treated badly! Thank you again!
