Davixxa Here's what I think is wrong with LFR, Flex, etc. Now, I was never the sort of player of was in super imba end-game raiding guilds; I did raid, though. Back in, say, TBC, people like me raided Kara pretty often, and sometimes Gruul and Mag. I got to see The Eye a few times and ZA maybe once. But I was happy - because in order to do the Tier 4-5 raids, you still had to work hard together with your guild. There was no other way to do it, so that's the way everyone did it. There was no such thing as a PUG for a raid, and in the end it fostered a sense of community and family. You didn't complain about having to work hard because it was the only way to raid, quitting mid-raid was unheard of. Now it is true that for very high-end content such as heroic raids, there is still that sense of community and family because such content is done by strong guilds with great friendships. But for people like me who *aren't* that good, you have LFR. You don't have to work hard to do LFR and it doesn't require you to work well with others (compared with Tier 4-5 raids back in TBC, for example: people at my skill level could do them, but you still put in work, effort, and needed to be an actively polite and friendly part of a guild to be included).

***** To be honest, coming from a druid tank that knew very little in the fights, I've met hardly any backlash for it. Some annoyances, yes, but I've always been told that at least I said something first, before we all wiped because one of the tanks was an idiot. The other tanks have always been on top of their game and directed me and things went smoothly. I've never seen all this hate people claim to get in LFR. I've seen trolling and the occasional douche baggery, but it's nothing like these "horror stories" people share. I was initially scared of LFR for it, but quickly eased into it and can dismiss most of those stories now. The only thing really bad about it is how silent the chat usually is. If anything, LFG is the problem, since a group of people can go in and pick on the odd one out. I've seen worse from it since you're only working with 4 other people and have little support to whip them into place.

There are plenty of good reasons to hate MoP. The good things were the visuals which were absolutely stunning, I love the old-Chinese archetype the Pandarens have, the race itself is interesting and funny, and the dungeons/raids were really good. However, they completely butchered the talent system, they turned PvP into a joke, they've added the cash shop in MoP and they started the trend of grindig daily quests 0-24 in that expansion. If they could release MoP to Classic with Cata's talent tree and without daily grinding, it would easily be my favourite expansions.

Exactly. That's why I enjoyed the end of the expansion so much, it was super interesting to have that parallel to real life history. The way Garrosh amassed the powers of the Dragonmaw, Blackfuse Company, and Klaxxi; it really reminded me of World War II so much.

I really liked Garrosh, he was an interesting character with a lot of depth, and sure he did some pretty evil things, but then So have most of the cast (Mediev, Sylvanas, Tyrande, Illidan). And he has a good design, took the horde in the right direction to give them their iconic identity back, he had an interesting design that made him stand out while still being distinctly an orc, which is the core of the horde. Also as a bonus point he's sexy AF. And now, sady we are stuck with Sylvanas as warcheif, who dosen't fit the horde atall, is compleatly selfish and self serving, has 0 honour and has commited war crimes just as bad as Garosh had, if not worse..

From what I remember from playing the game, the pandaren and the brewmaster were actually a fan favorite in the game (same with the concert, still brings a smile to my face). I stopped playing wow years ago at Cataclysm but even then I was still exuberant to see blizzard finally giving the Pandaren the attention they deserved.

Never understood the hate for this expansion, it has a good general plot that you can actually learn a good life lesson from, aside from the drought between SoO's release and WoD, there was a lot of content to keep players occupied, the Wrathion questline was pretty cool and informative in the matters of what was to come, and it had some of my favorite dungeons and raids from any expansion, ToT was the bomb imo but because it revolved around the Pandaren, which have been a thing in Warcraft lore since Warcraft 3, people hated it and yet they don't hate the pretty boy blood elves?
