The sharpness and quality of this projector reminds me of the Epson 1060 but it ran way hotter and the black levels weren't that good unlike the nexigo pj20.

Glad I can use the buttons to focus. Remote is working on my Yamaha receiver, turning the volume down! 100" screen to be about 9 feet away. Comes in Thursday in theory though I got it so cheap and it hasn't even shipped I think they may just cancel my order. Argh. Maybe I should get a 120" ? Excited to give this thing a work out.

@@tvboxstop Works great. With only about 9-10 feet between it and screen, it projects about 95 rather than 100" in order to stay in focus. Surprises me that fan doesn't have to run for a while after power down: it just shuts off. As advertised, very bright, good focus. Low latency important for gaming. I have gaming PC with HDMI out to the projector with fiber 5.1 from PC to Yamaha receiver for surround sound theater and gaming.

fan noise is actually quite loud. I dont know the other ones but noise is loud if you are too close. 2 meters should be fine thou. Anything else about this projector is really Great. seriously. impressive quality

5.1 or 7.1 surround sound audio can only be achieved if the projector features HDMI ARC, which allows you to connect the projector to your ear receiver via direct HDMI cable. So when they see surround sound audio in the firmware menu it's like a virtual surround sound feature but in stereo.

@@chasemb6 updates don't improve hardware quality. The projection beam from the PJ20 is outstanding. Firmware updates only improve its interface and probably things like Bluetooth connectivity. But its raw power and lumens has nothing to do with updates.

Is it possible to connect this to WI-FI speakers? I'm afraid there would be some lag between video and audio if I share screen to the projector and share audio to the speaker.

Not Wi-Fi speakers Bluetooth speakers only. If you share screen there will be a lag between your phone and the projector. However if you connect your speakers via Bluetooth and play your content via HDMI or USB you will not have any latency.

It's quite easy actually and I'm sorry I did not understand how to do this while creating the video. Just remove the rubber feet and you will find the ceiling mount screw holes beneath them.

How do you align the screen to fill a 120 screen. I pull it back and it fills horizontal but what control fills screen vertical or the up and down

Most projector screens are way larger than what a projector can actually without. So the aspect ratio is either 4:3 or 16:9 you say it on your televisions when watching 1080p videos sometimes you get the black bar to the top and below. So there is no independent setting to adjust its horizontal and vertical size. There is just one zoom in and zoom out.

You will find a PJ 20 ceiling mount you would have to use a universal one either on Amazon or some other retail store. It's 13 inches wide and 9 inches long so that's the surface area your ceiling mount should have. This one is suitable for this projector amzn.to/3QG9BtC

All projector fans generate noise somewhat more than others. This is a full-sized projector but I don't recall any overbearing fan noise. Give it a run for while and see if the noise dissipates as it breaks in the new fan.

Does anybody know how to adjust the screen image? I have a 100 inch screen and I have the projector mounted about 12 to 15 ft away. But it costs way too big I would almost need a 150 inch screen in order for the image to fit inside of the screen only and not all over the wall. How do I adjust this?

Okay so this can be tricky. The blue screen does not resize when you adjust the image scaling under picture settings. What you have to do is play a video and press the menu button to bring up the display settings and adjust its zoom while a video is playing that way it will resize. However I don't believe it will reduce the blue screen area.

This projector does not have a built-in Android interface, so you have to connect a device to stream your movie subscriptions such as Hulu, Disney+, Netflix, and others.

I never tested its flash drive size limitation, but I used a 128GB flash drive in the video and NTFS, eXFAT, Fat32 will work

No issues. This projector I rate the best I have reviewed for 2021. It's that good. I also learned that the the same manufacturer made the Artlii Enjoy 3, so there is definitely some premium stuff going on in their models.

@@rambud986 I don’t think it does for audio out only in. I returned it and bought an HT3550 which is amazing. If you get a Roku stick you can use an app on your phone to send it to a Bluetooth speaker.

For me, the screen mirroring marketed by many manufacturers these days is irrelevant. Slap a chromecast on it and you can mirror what you want. You can also hook up the chromecast to an AVR and run an output HDMI to the projector so as to be able to separate the audio from the video signal and have the AVR do the decoding which will give you at least Dolby Digital Plus surround and also allow you to stream any music service you wish. This will give you sound superior to any bluetooth casting and make this feature useless as well. If you forgo the wireless features you can get such projectors for HUGE discounts NOW! So save your money, why not? Otherwise this projector is very similar to a lot of $250 plus Chinese projectors with a 5.8" TFT internal screen, lenses and color decoder illuminated by LEDs. Most have ANSI lumens around 320 to 360 and similar contrast ratios. They don't put out the light of a DLP bulb projector. But, in a VERY dark room they are adequate. Most reviewers exaggerate how well these do with lights on. First, punch the image to over 100" on a white wall and then turn the lights on so that they shine very close to the projected image. Because, let's face it, you do NOT buy a projector to project an image smaller than this! In most cases the image while somewhat viewable is washed out contrast and color wise. Not as much on the DLP $500+ projectors. If you can get one of these for $200 or less it's worth it! What puts the Nexigo a bit over the top is the ELECTRONIC FOCUS. That alone should put this on your list. I wish I knew this before I bought my projector. But, the good thing is that I got mine for $100 so half-it's also a FULL size projector with 320 ANSIs. So I can live with the focus problems. Reviewers should TALK more about this though. So kudos to TV Box Stop! Nice review!
