I'm new to TSM and learning the basics thanks to your guide. At the moment I'm only playing my main so there are a few things that would be nice to get some coverage by your guides as well: 1. How to use TSM to restock your usables like potions, or drums efficiently. 2. How to auto vendor greys or Items of low interest like dropped lvl 60 consumables. 3. How to set up your TSM to flip items way below market e.g. on my realm, we had a overload of a particular enchantment. (ring, haste 27) the price dropped to 10g while the region market was 140-150g. The materials cost where more than twelve fold. So i wanted to buy out all the ultra cheap ones and put them back on for a normalized price. But i couldn't even find them until i switched back to the regular AH. - they where in the group i was scanning. 4. How to add Items to groups, that are not in your bags. Then i have some minor questions, probably not worth a complete video: (of course you can do one if you think otherwise) - Can i set up TSM to auto repair my equipment? - How to find Items in the AH that i haven't grouped up yet? For transmog, i used to search the item by shift-click and remove the attached name "epic handkerchief of the snot" => "epic handkerchief". So I found the price to undercut for transmog. You mentioned something about ignoring "random enchantments" but I'm not sure how an item qualifies for that. As far as i can tell, you used a battlepet for your example. - How does TSM update it's prices? do i have to relog once in a while. It doesn't do AH-scans, right? (i have the desktop app and everything seems to work - it's just curiousity) - Is there a source explaining all the different variables you can use for your pricing formulas? - as I'm new to the whole "make gold with the AH" stuff. So, this is a question about your experience: Is it worth paying attention to Items of old expansions? And if so: only stuff that is still needed today, e.g. for engineers or even consumables for twinks? Should i vendor stuff like that right away, or how do i read the data on the item to know more about its value? Thank you very much for your guides, they are very helpful so far =)

Thanks for your detailed questions, I will answer what I can ... 1. The Crafting operations should cover you for that assuming you are making your usables yourself. I cover that in Part 3 2. The TSM vendoring window can vendor your greys for you, I don't use it myself because I prefer to do it manually. 3. Some things like that are situational, you can setup a shopping operation to look for them - I touch on that briefly in Part 3 4. This is a tricky one and not as easy as I'd like. I did cover it on an older tutorial here - kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWO3m4GlrspqgMk - I'm not sure TSM can auto repair - The method you are using for searching for transmog not in a group is exactly as I would do it for a one off. If I wanted to do it more than once, I'd add the item to a group with "ignore random enchants" selected (don't forget to do a /reload afterwards or TSM bugs out) - TSM updates it's prices through the desktop app every hour or 2, the tooltip lets you know when data was last collected. - There is this link which has lots of information - support.tradeskillmaster.com/display/KB/Price+Sources+Explained - Absolutely! I still sell a lot of old world enchants which are used for alts while they level (Elemental Force anyone?). It's a question of looking into what players are doing and using and trying it out. See how many times it expires before you make a sale and adjust from there. Happy goldmaking!

The only thing you assumed wrong: I don't really craft a lot myself. As mentioned I only have one char (no time to have any others currently - especially as my focus in WoW is playing the Raids/M+ dungeons) So I want to buy flasks, pots and materials for cooking as cheap as possible. And/or restock when I go to my bank. / Unload excess stacks to my Bank when i just bought new supplies. - I came up with the question at work, and posted this in a break. So, maybe i'll figure it out myself when i get home this evening.

I believe the warehousing operations should work for that. I've not really used them myself, so can't advise how to set them up yet.

Really loving this series very useful Something I have been experimenting with is using multiple pricing operations on a single group e.g one based on market value and another based on vendor price for undercutting when the market goes below my normal minimum when I just want to get rid of boe greens. After running the post scan I just choose which operation to use (sometimes don't have a choice if the market value op is orange text) saves running a scan, seeing that the current is below my minimum and then manual posting via shopping scan

aha that is where I was getting stuck. i didnt realize the order the operations were in mattered. I was trying to figure out how to get automate it so that it would sell my 135 of an herb into 100, 20, 10, and 5, so went back in and but the operations with largest stacks in first and it worked out great, thanks

if you had a huge stock of stuff, whether it be TMog or mats or crafts, and you just wanted to have like a "sale weekend" or something could you have an operation that uses whatever your normal calculations are in the Min/Normal/Max fields but you just add in like "-25%" into the string? Or do you have to just make another operation and actually take 25% off of the values you already have?

like having a sale but still keeping profit is what im saying, like it takes 25% off of your profit but still makes profit, not 25% off the entire calculation

It depends on how you calculated your operations. The only way I can think of is a blanket cut percentage off the entire calculation.

Is there a way to use auctioning operations on the fly? If I have an epic I want to flip, do I have to assign it to a certain group or can I just sell it under auction and choose a certain auction operation I set up before? I think it's inconvenient to assign an item to a group that I might never own again.

You can use the shopping tab if there are others on the market or usually I setup a 'specials' group and put them in there as it usually takes a few posts to sell.

I have a question, is there a way to bind the restocking operation to a sellrate? I mean yeah i can scan for profit, but if that profit is on a sellrate of 0.05 thats not gonna do much for me. Right now i have to manually clean up my crafting list after clicking restock and thats kinde tideous :)

Yes, I imagine you could do something with DBRegionSaleRate and weight your profit calculations. Maybe combine it with one of the logic functions ?

Hey man, sorry that i said this question here but idk why and want to ask; in Kazzak Eu realm, i was shopping in TSM4 and see 1x200 stack of Umbra shard for 19g i bought it but it actual price was 12k. when i switch to wow UI AH it show Real price but in TSM it show 19g !!! how is it possible ? i see this issue many times... have you any opinion ?

Thanks for this series of videos. Everything works perfectly except one thing. I am able to post everything except crafted armor. Everytime I try i get an error message even though I'm using the same operation as other crafted goods. I attempted to do it with variation and without variation. Very confused

Is there a particular type of armor that is not posting? Does it use materials that TSM can't work out the price and therefore can't work out the crafting cost?

Is there a way to setup tsm to sell any amount of "item" and just undercut by 1copper. I have followed this guide and when i set up operation for selling haste food lets say i have 152food i want to be able to just post all in stacks of 1 and undercuting by 1coper. How can i do that when i make operation 200max 1in stack it says not enough in bags and it chooses default operation i think .. im not sure how to do this.Do i need to write exact numbers every time in operation ? Is there just a way to post any amount of stuff just by limiting stack size only and amount indefinite? ..thanks

You would need to turn on "allow partial stacks" and it should work. However, I would suggest against putting some mass items in stacks of 1. Many people will avoid them because they are so inconvenient to buy.
