I don’t know how to feel about this. All these amazing guitars just sitting in a warehouse. All just perfect. Made to be played and just sitting in a dark crate for decades.
@stanlee54655 жыл бұрын
Obviously he bought them all as an investment, and could care less if they ever get played again. And if he bought those NOW vintage guitars 30 years ago, then just imagine how much most of them have appreciated... Say a $300 strat now going for $3000... Let see the stock market match those gains!
@russclark5335 жыл бұрын
Stan Lee Of course it was a great investment, I was only saying it is a bit sad seeing all these amazing instruments sitting in a vault and not being enjoyed.
@elievans57625 жыл бұрын
Stan Lee $300 in the S&P 500 (not cherry-picking any stock) in 1989 would be more than $6000 in 2019. So bad example?

Uh, WOW! I don’t collect anything but I really like the few guitars 🎸 that I have & totally appreciate looking @ all of those guitars. I saw a couple that I might be interested in. I wouldn’t mind selling what I have just to make a change or upgrade. You can’t have everything. Where would you put it? Well apparently Norm puts it in an enormous humidity & temperature controlled warehouse. Thanks for protecting all of those wonderful instruments. It’s like you have a museum where stuff is for sale. So kewl. 👍🎸☮️🌞

Years of watching it always amazes {not in a comment just in general} I've seen bashing of Norm on sites several times. Amazing and unbelieveable. What also is amazing is that Norm seems to remeber everything about each instrument just with a quick glance at it. Me, I own about 40 instruments and that number has been pretty fixed during the last 20 years even though I have baught and sold quite a lot. Last summer I found a guitar in my closet I did not know I had. Sold it to a friend who developed an acute GAS for it but I still cant recall where and when I accured that one. Not even a slight trace of memory about that.

I understand people who are saying these guitars should have been played instead of being put away for so many years...but then again, if they had been out there they would probably be in unplayable condition by now, or lost....people from 2, 3 decades ago had their share of cool guitars, at least these that have been stashed away give us, in the 21 century, a chance to play real cool stuff. People may say they are too expensive now...well, it took someone the balls to acquire and keep them for 20, 30 years...you deserve to make some money for all this work, don't you? Someone had to do it, and thank Norm for having done it.
