The single, most underrated guitarist in the entire industry. Leo Nocentelli is an absolute master! And I want that 335. What a gem! He is so deserving of that signature model Gibson made for him. Thank you for this video. It's a joy to hear Leo speak of his upbringing and musical education. Leo Nocentelli is a National Treasure.

I used to deliver medicine by bicycle from Oschwald Pharmacy to Ida Nocentelli, and she lived about 1 block from the tracks, on either Elizabeth or Nolan St. I am assuming that is where Leo Nocentelli is referring to. I don't know if the house is still there, seems I had looked for it in the past, and didn't see it....if I recall correctly , the front room, maybe to the "south" side was octoganol.

Taught school in Donaldsonville for a year in 1970-71., and consequently got to know many fine people of both races... but I also met a few really nasty racists. Never knew that Leo had Donaldsonville roots. Fun fact: D-ville is the headwaters of Bayou Lafourche.
