Yeah big chunk of people didn't like that Nastu won against Laxus, however they did it perfectly in my opinion. They had Laxus fight Mystogon, then Erza, then Nastu and Gajeel, and then Finally just Nastu. As well as using tons of magic for Fairy Law and the Thunder Palace. Its just shows how powerful Laxus is, and if he was fighting Nastu at full strength, Nastu wouldn't have had a chance.

I enjoyed it cause it's possible Laxus used so much magic so he'll be drained by the last fight still a crazy feat but it wasn't bad

If you didn't see what Freed said when Laxus releases the Lightning Dragon Heavenward Halberd, he said if that magic connected to the weakened Natsu, Natsu would be dead by then since Laxus has a murderous intent that even Natsu fears that his life would be end.

This is why I say don't listen to haters. Everything they say is a misconception They say this anime is all power of friendship and when I asked when was that used they bring up this fight and the one against Jellal. Laxus has lived with them since he was a kid. Of course his spell wont work. Yes Natsu ate poison to powerup against Jellal but Erza was no match for him and Natsu is no match for Erza. How else was he supposed to win? Dragonforce is a huge thing in this series so idk why people see it as an asspull. They say there's no deaths in fairytail. There's more than OG Naruto, Bleach before the bloodwar arc, Black Clover and my hero. They also villains become friends. No Laxus has always been their friend and Gajeel being a friend will make sense soon. Plus he's a dragon slayer. Real villains actually get slapped. Also it's important to remember strong emotions bring out more power. It never got them an anticlimatic W tho so don't worry. Every show has power of friendship and people only say it about fairytail because they have speeches about it since bonds and emotion is the theme. This series is pretty tight

I will say this till the day I die, but Laxus won, at most it was a draw. Laxus didn't just fight Mystogan, Erza, Natsu, then Gajeel and Natsu, performed Fairy Law and fought Natsu again just for them to say Natsu won after he was equally as beaten up as Laxus.
