It's okay to experience a feeling of grief for someone who has passed away as you learn more about them. I remember I felt the same way learning about Kurt Cobain being dead when I started getting into Nirvana back in high school. I think it's a great thing, he lives on today through his work and so people will continue to get to know him and continue to feel sadness once they understand him more. It's sad and beautiful at the same time.

The part at 4:21 hit the hardest imo, his voice full of emotions and mikus voice without any overlapping really brings the message forward of his voice being overshadowed by miku even though his hide more feeling. I hate when people say "his heart was touched by miku😞" or "he'll be in heaven with miku" THIS ISNT ABOUT MIKU, ITS ABOUT HIM. MIKU IS A TOOL, A MASCOT FOR HIS MUSIC. HE DOESN'T NEED MIKU ATTACHED TO HIS NAME FOREVER. sure his vocoloid songs brought him to the spotlight but it kept shining because of him. (Thats just my opinion anyways) Very underrated video, keep going! 💖

One other thing that hits hard is how clearly this video shows off the updated Miku animation for unknown mother goose since it makes it so obvious that the animators put their all into emulating Wowaka’s movements in Miku for this song that they did as part of the tribute stuff.
@Italsik Жыл бұрын
Just in case the song is about Wowaka and his "mother", Miku. I feel like you might have the idea that this song is about how no one cares about wowaka as they only see Miku when in fact he's the creator, which is a good point. This is why a lot of producers left vocaloid. But this song is not about that. This was supposed to be his entry song, going back to the community (based from the comment attach to it) but well we know what happened next.

@Italsik yes but it's definitely not "I'm back, it's gonna be great!" When u read the lyrics, the song is "I'm back, here's why I left. I'm still back tho cuz this job is worth it" (Also I'm 99% sure that "the unknown mother goose" is just a similar sounding phrase to "an unknown story" in Japanese)

I discovered his songs year later, and instantly fell in love with them. To this day im listening to Rolling Girl, Ura-Omote Lovers, World's End Dancehall, Unknown Mother-Goose, Unhappy Refrain and many other songs with passion. Wowaka inspired me, by art and by music. Im creating my own songs, that were inspired by him. Im in love with his creations. I dont understand many of his songs, but at the same time i understand them. Sad part was that he left and got fed up with how the Vocaloid community acted because back then people wouldn't say that he made the songs but MIKU did, and never really saw Wowaka for who he was This was his last Vocaloid song using Miku as the directors of Magical Mirai asked him to make 1 last song This song is basically Wowaka's relationship with Miku and the Vocaloid community and kinda rekindling that bond

wowaka was the person who introduced me to Vocaloid, I've been in this community for almost a decade now. As a troubled child, his songs really made me feel seen despite being quite young and I still feel that way now that I am older. I never really understood quite the amount of sadness someone could feel for their favorite artist leaving their community, until wowaka's passing. This man singlehandely changed this genre of music -- this community -- entirely. Vocaloid would not be where it is today without this man's music and I'm sure there're so many other people out there who feel as seen by his music as I do. His music changed Vocaloid history and it will never be forgotten; we will never let it become forgotten. RIP wowaka, you've changed so many lives for the better.
