If you don't know about Kaga, then you should. 24 attack aircraft, 36 torpedo bombers, and 36 dive bombers. While planes are downtiered in HP, she backs them up with insane reserves and good regeneration timers. From packing a battleship hull (protected citadel up close), to good plane stats, it is surprising she was not nerfed lately.
She does take some practice to get used to though due to having one of the longer arming distances for chain-strikable torps (longer than Hakuryu) and her rockets are nearly worthless. Dive bombers are useable on larger targets but often inconsistent on destroyers.
Your primary focus as Kaga is to focus and destroy large ships quickly and efficiently. Only go after destroyers when you have to.

Before thinking about Kaga or any other premium CV, a player should have played many battles with Ranger and Ryujo to learn the basics of CV gameplay and have a captain with at least 16 skillpoints ready to release the full potential. A beginner without enough practice can de-plane Kaga within minutes. Trust me, i`ve seen this really often. Tier 4 and 6 are far better for learning CV gameplay than Tier 8.

Very true. And applicable to any type of ship. Learning the basics is less frustrating and more rewarding than going straight for high tiers with buying a premium

Kaga truly is one of the best tier 8 ranked CVs. Especially when u face another Kaga who doesn't move.. you get 11 out of 12 torps on the first flight lol

Kaga can throw planes without caring but gives up on DD control. Enterprise can win games by having great rockets for DDs and AP bombs for cruisers, Torps for BBs. imo, Enterprise wins it

No commentary today? Agreed Kaga is the best for torp CV play. Was this a brawl or Ranked? I've used the Kaga on Convoy with pretty good results. What's the music you used in the background? Works really well.

I would never recommend kaga to a beginner because it will never teach them the core mechanics of a CV I know what you mean though it is easy to play. German BB captains are always an example I use they go down that presuen line first and then sail every other line without thinking about the importance of angling.

Replays don't pick up cursor or show the autopilot path. It's me setting autopilot but also setting full-speed manually

Kaga does not get citadelled by Colossus. And kagas one TB strike does half Colossus HP. A chain strike will bring you down to about 20% HP and only needs one more strike to kill you
