WPL B24 leaf spring more flex!

Just a video of how I achieved more Flex with the B24 zh without having to fabricate or highly mod anyting. Longer screws and m2 o rings not m3 sorry. This greatly improves it's crawling ability and has made this rig a lot more fun! I love these little things sorry if you guys are getting sick of WPL stuff. They are cheap and it's what I started my channelwith. I do really like them even though they are toy grade lol. Tinker mod and have fun heck yeah! Thanks for watching and don't forget to subscribe!

If you trim the screw a little you won't need the rubber o rings. But it works out becasue the suspension makes less noise with it on.

I actually find the plastic drive shafts and plastic axle housing with steering knuckles quite adequate, even a bit better in some ways than the metal parts with a lot of screws/grub screws that can come off loose. I definitely feel more comfortable with this mod. I'm all for keeping my wpls as stock as possible. Thank you, David!

its the packaging from eneloop batteries from Costco. It's two pieces the vent windows are part of the window just bent them at the seam.

How and where can I get more of these screws? I’ve done this mod to my b36 and want to do it to my jjrc q models but their screws are short and fully threaded. 😢

Not sure where to get the hardware separately. When you buy these in kit form you usually get spare hardware.

@@RunThatRC I found those screws in the axle hubs of my jjrc q65. Only those axle hub screws are that long.

@@hristoivanov9587 if you only have the longer ones you can use it too. You just need to add spacers so the leaf spring won't drop out of its location. Also you can contact wpl on WPL-RC.com for the shorter screws if you can't source any.

the problem is that those bars springs can not support the weight of the front, did you find solutions?

mine are holding the front up fine. You can maybe double up on the leaf springs if your loading up your rig.

Hey, so i think im having some issues with my lifting lugs and leaf spring mod. I have a Q61 jjrc truck and the only thing i have on the frame now is just the 370 motor and gear box upgrade. The suspension should hold the frame up a lil more than the original suspension i thought but it seems that the shackles are as if they are compressed instead of lifted. Can you help?

Are you referring to the upgrade you can purchase? If you are I have no experience with those. Tomleys rc garage and rc with popeye has that upgrade maybe they are better suited in helping you with this. I have only tweaked the stock suspension for more flex.
