Can't wait to get mine, its ordered, along with a few upgrades, like metal waterproof servo, oil filled shocks, and wider tires. Oh, and a cap for the bed. The build is going to be a lot of fun ;)

let us know how younget along with the oil shocks. nobody seems to have found a good shock solution for these yet. I run the stock frictions and dont mind it at this scale.

Awesome in scale abilities. I painted one in TRD Baja an have it on a 14001, with easy cutouts it sits right down onto posts, rear shock towers coming through the bed isda sheeee and is insane fun. The headlights work unreal too, I wanna paint one in Toyota Sherwood green and super Pimp it. Little Beast beat Heartbreak Hill, great show thanks RTR.

Those sliders look like they might get hung up on that bump on the back, can you edit them to make them smooth and uniform?

They have 2 versions available. They call that bump on the slider a kick out. It's to help push you away from an obstacle or tree so you don't get the rear tire sucked in.

now a days the rtr and regular (not km) kit are similarly specked. just choose if you want a rtr with wpl electronics or a kit to build up with your own electronics.

Awesome, I just got my C24-1 and I love it. Is there a 2spd gearbox that I can swap into it? I'm very new to this so I apologize if this is a dumb question.

welcome to the world of Rcing! These things are highly modifiable. There is a wpl 2 speed that fits in there but needs different electronics to shift and handle the 2 speed and bigger motor.

Hello, i hope you see this. I would like to ask you some questions. I like the body of the C14 and C24 , but do you think the C34 and C44 are better? what about a C14-24 body on a c34-44 frame. I want the dual speed so i debating between C14km or C44km with c14 body. thanks for any help or suggestions (just ordered B-16 RTR for the kid)

Happy birthday! Can you help me to choose what's better for MN D90 body? The C24KM, C34KM or C44KM. Which one of them has got 2 speed gearbox? Which would fit well? Won't it be too narrow?

The c24km is a easy fit. All the WPLs have the same width axles so the mn d90 will have the wheels tucked like a stock d90. All the newer KM stuff has the 2 speed included(not sure on the C34km if it's still the single speed or 2 speed now). I haven't tried to install on the other chassis so I don't know how much modding you need to fit it.

These are not waterproof out the box. Mine is waterproofed with plastidip. I have a couple water runs of my other WPLs so that can show you that you can make them water resistant enough to run in water.

for me it would be a km and V3 electronics or stand alone tx/rx and electronics. The new rtr stuff is good for starters to see if they enjoy going slow and crawling stuff. If you end up liking it then your ready to mod. If your already into the crawl scene then KM and V3 or your own electronics and it turns into a pretty decent runner.

@@RunThatRC Thanks! I split the difference and got my kid an RTR and me a KM/V3. I've had numerous cars over the years, but I've always focused on being in the air. I've got the RTR in hand already. It's equal parts impressive and disappointing. I think it'll work fine. It just has a lot of slop in most of the joints. My kid wont know the difference and the body looks fantastic. The stock battery is an interesting choice, though( the 2s 500man Li-ion). Best I can find is that battery is probably only good to about 5A while the V3 ESC was uprated to 7A from whatever the V2 was. So any full throttle punches could be pretty hard on the little guy, but I've already decided on some 3000mah 20A 18650s to fill the role. One of these days I'll check the amp draw for fun., but for now its gotta go back in the box for another month. Coincidentally, I think we used to live near each other. LOL Keep up the good work.

It's a C24KM underneath with the newer C24-1 white body on it and 3d printed wheels and sliders. This kit comes in red or blue original colors.

body color and the C24KM is a metal upgraded kit with a lot more metal parts included.

They are 3d printed wheels and they print with more negative offset than stock but are the same width.

You do excellent run videos but I guess part of your prowess is due to the location-location-location. This hill could easily pass for 1/1 scale, while other youtubers are running in their backyards in tall grass & some bricks thrown down for obstacles (yawn). Fine work, man!

I'm glad you enjoy it. I like trailing around in real life. I tried the back yard thing and it is only good for testing but it's not actual trail experience. Being in the middle of nowhere trailing just makes it feel that much more like my real experiences.

2 things seem to cause this for me. the shift arm is to close to the shift linkage and need so be moved. The other one is stretching the spring or adding a spring to get a more solid engagement.
