Great Tutorial as always, Paul. Quick Question: Is it possible to use this feature with another form builder (eg Happy Forms) instead of the default Elementor forms? The reason I ask this is the poor field validations for empty (typing spaces) with Elementor forms. Unless of course there's a way or a plugin to check for hitting spaces in the field in Elementor forms. Thanks

I was hoping you could help me I am following your tutorial and have installed the plugin CPT UI but then get stuck because I can't find the "the custom fields" option as it is shown on your tutorial that is 3.06 minutes into your tutorial. I am working on a Mac but I can't imagine that being an issue. I am using elementor Pro

Quick question about using custom post types or just the 'post' post type ( _messes with my head that!_ ). I have lots of dynamic content on my website e.g posts (obviously) but also image carousels, customer feedback, featured posts etc and I just use Ele Custom Skin to display these as I want and store the dynamic data is the 'post' post type e.g. title, featured image, excerpt etc. Is it 'better' (performance, maintainability etc) to use custom post types? Or doesn't it really matter i.e. if the 'post' post type works, crack on?

Hi Paul, is there a way so the PayPal button is dynamically linked to several different amounts? To clarify, in this video the payment button gets the info dynamically from the beer price. That is just one field, but lets say its not about beer, and I want a user to be able to chose from three price options. How can the selected price then be dynamically fetched by the PayPal button?

Hey, I love the video. I actually purchased the plugin. My one issue is it is not working for me. I even contacted the company. How do you debug this plugin to figure out why it is not working? The message goes through without the plugin. Then when I use the plugin, it validates but the payment does not go through.

Great video, this is just what I needed for an event booking page. One question though. I've got an ACF field for the price (Number type) but I've got no Dynamic Tag option on the PayPal Item Value field. Item Name, Item Description, Item Number all have Dynamic Tags but not the Item Value. I'm displaying the price elsewhere on the page no problem. Any ideas? Thx.

My Paypal buttons look extremely outdated. I can't get my paypal api to show paypal buttons that look decent like the ones in this. There isn't any info about what settings exactly to use for the paypal api.

What's the difference between "CTP UI" and creating a "Custom-Post-Template" with Elementor? Can "CTP UI" do more than a "Custom-Elementor-Post-Template"?

A custom post type (CPT) creates new and unique post formats and then you can use Elementor Pro's theme tools to build the templates. A custom post template is still going to use the standard post format in WordPress, so you'll be stuck using either categories or tags to differentiate your content. The other benefit of CPT's is that if you combine them with a tool like ACF, you can add manner of additional fields to your custom posts and each CPT can have totally different custom meta fields (field types) associated with them. Have a look on my channel for the beginner's guide to ACF and have a look at the first 2 videos to give you a practical example of how and when to use both of these tools to make more powerful WordPress websites.

As for being commercials, its stated within the first minute the video is sponsored along with a message onscreen to say it's sponsored and the video demonstrates a specific feature. If that's being dishonest in any way, I think the confusion is on your part. Anyway, have a nice day and I'm sure I won't see you around here watching my 'commercials' anytime soon. 🥱

Don't like this at all! I can create a PP button and throw it on a lightening fast simple html css page only which is much much lighter than have to have wordpress, elementor, the CPT UI plugin and the PayPal for Elementor Pro Form plugin and have it do the same thing!
