This is how a leader takes care of his people. He is involved with what is going on and lets everyone know to keep them up to date. He is ahead of the game with strategic operations running ahead of crews fixing needed infrastructure that allows more normal needs. Started with making sure people were found and helped find aid and living quarters. Had shut down power pre disaster to save vital power equipment that made it easier to get power reestablished. Getting things done and adapting to changes as they arise. Great job Ron !

Thank God we got DeSantis elected in 2018! And this is exactly why we need him to stay in Florida for another term and let him get even more experience and keep Florida on the right path and allow him time to get someone in place to take over. If and when he decides to run for President. We can’t lose him anytime soon. It would be disastrous for Florida. And Florida is too important in the big picture to let it go to someone who isn’t ready to lead. I live in NC and lost my home to Florence. Our Gov Ray Cooper did nothing compared to what DeSantis is doing. What a presence he is and Florida blessed to have such a strong and proactive leader who really cares about the residents there.

DeSantis might be handling it well, and that's good for Floridians, but that doesn't change his hypocrisy- Republicans would love to harp on something like this if a Democrat did it. So I'm just reminding people that DeSantis is very much a "rules for thee, not for me" type of leader. That can be advantageous, but it also comes with some moral concerns... Just something to think about.

I am from Kentucky, I do not have to tell you the disasters this state has been through, DeSantis needs to take a lesson from Andy Beshear!! NOT ONCE did Andy toot his own horn, during the ice storm, the Dec tornadoes, and the devastating floods in EKY. What did Andy do?
