For anyone trying to scrutinize him over minor glitches - HE DOES NOT DECIDE THE RULES FOR THE CATEGORY. Clearing up a few things though: 10:42 Is not a glitch, it is fall cancel. Yes, the boundaries of the map aren't loaded in yet, but that's because the game didn't render the world yet based on his character's collision - he did not go out of bounds, or skip anything. All he did was drop down the ladder shaft without taking damage. If anyone wants to discredit him for using fall damage cancel, remember that alternatively he could have used Spook or taken 10 seconds to go down the ladder and still would've finished the game in under 45 minutes which is undeniably still incredible. 46:00 Is not a glitch either, it is exploiting the AI. Lorian's AI does not detect the player character if the player is directly behind him and doesn't hit him directly. The player can hit Lothric on his back freely here without triggering Lorian's AI to attack the player. Exiting out at doors is not a glitch either, all it does is skip the animation of opening the door to pause IGT and resume it after the door animation is finished, saving around ~5 seconds. Also, until you all have tried speedrunning, don't knock the craft. It's hard as fuck glitchless or not.

For anyone does not understand why some glitch are allowed. The general rule of thumb is: if some minor glitch does not skip bosses and only skip running time, it would be allowed. That is why the Farron keep jump is allowed. It does not skip any boss and only skip the ladder. same rule can be applied to the sword fast health regen glitch. It does not skip boss, only give you the option to heal as you run.

The idea was that if a mechanic is used as intended but not the outcome, it is an exploit and not a glitch: Rolling trough damage is used to negate it - therefore, rolling trough fall damage is an exploit and not a glitch

i believe farron doesn't load properly as the player needs to touch the terrain hitbox first (i think it counts the staircaise as well)

On the farron keep ladder, textures unload, which allows the player to jump down. It is not a glitch, yet an exploit. Exploits do not count as glitches. Summoning Sword Master for Vordt is not a glitch for instance, it is just a game feature

​@@ludovic5482 may be. I speedran Elden Ring and it's ok to do a glitch where you play with Radahn's AI and make him run towards you instead of standing and keep firing gravity arrows. The run is accepted by site. I guess the glitches that are not out of bound or not making you skip a boss (or a "must" section) isn't considered really a glitch. In any% category though, you can just skip half of the boss fights.

Sage can't disappear if he still has one soul mass. It's very difficult but you rotate sage so the last soul mass stays attached to the sage and get the one cycle

It's a glitch people like ZeroFanFare here don't know anything about the speed running scene. So they get very confused and think they know everything about something they know nothing about. Glitchless in a lot of games usually still has a few glitches in it you just have to check the rules.

The sword heals him over time, everytime he equips the sword a heal tick is instantly triggered therefore it is faster to equip/unequip all the time than to just let the sword be equipped.

Anri's straight sword gives you a passive health regen just like blessed weapons, at the beginning granting you a tiny bit of health just by equipping it Swapping the sword in and out activates that regen multiple times, giving you a lot more hp
