Illegal play at 15:20, he forgot to pay the 3 extra mana for his mox when he played it. He also forgot to take damage from his city of brass at the 24:40 or so mark. Luckily it didn't matter in the end.
@mojosodope452 жыл бұрын
Was gonna say the same thing. Makes you wonder sometimes if it’s honest mistakes or people trying to get one past another player. I see way too many of these kinds of things on some matches.

It did very well at the tournament ending up in the finals. I also played against it and lost with my white bordered green aggro deck.

At the end of game 2 Erik had Wheel of Fortune in hand but he didn’t play it. He had a chance to find a Bolt and win the game 🤷♂️
@87plank2 жыл бұрын
Doubtfull because there was a Black vise on the table. 7 cards is for sure 3 damage.
@marcocoltelli72332 жыл бұрын
Erik had four lands, so had the possiblity to find and cast a bolt in his turn. He lost in any case, so why not to try to win?
@TimmytheSorcerer2 жыл бұрын
The problem is the Ankh on the table. He taps.1R for the bolt, he has WWR still available. He can use that to play the Wheel and then he still needs to play a mountain to cast the bolt if he finds one. If he would play with Mox Ruby or Lotus he could've made it!
@marcocoltelli72332 жыл бұрын
He played Bolt in the previous turn, so in the last turn he had 4 mana to cast first Wheel and then, eventually, Bolt. Nevermind, these are very cool decks, thanks for sharing the match. Very good commentary 😉
@jovdam2 жыл бұрын
He drew the Wheel off the Tome but obv didn't have mana to cast it

he should have waited to disenchant the nether void on his opponent's end step, it would have prevented a second one from being played and given him a much better chance at having a turn to do something
@eduardovitalchaves2 жыл бұрын
I would say that. And also, Eric would cast the fireball without any risk of taking a counter from the BEB.

True, he was probably so happy at top decking one that he immediately played it.

Video's and commentary are great! Thanks, but sometimes it's very hard to make out the cards in the decks. Especially the WR Valley deck. Lists are impossible correct? They would really help.
@TimmytheSorcerer Жыл бұрын
Thanks, yep, we have no lists only pics and our brain 🧠 The best thing to do is play a lot of old school and you’ll quickly learn most of the cards. The card-pool never changes so it’s perfect 👍
