Hey coach on the terry mcluarin route i said he kinda took a wider angle like he couldve restackwd better but it might just be the angle of the camera to make it look like that i dont know if its true or not please let me know.

You are 100% correct- I think if he attacks him better with his release it makes it easier. His release was fine but could sell the outside better to give an easier re stack lane

McLaurin drifted deep on the cut, probably 5 yards after his initial brake step, with an aggressive DB he should have worked downhill and friendly to the QB

Agreed- and been more violent with the hip drop so he doesn’t drift as much

hey coach, what do i do if my db has already started bailing to their zone before i can close enough space?

Would keep attacking- if he’s in zone and he’s bailing and your Route is shorter- then you just have to run the route

oh i thought mclaurin would have tried to show him a fake to the outside despite the db being outside to create a little bit more space instead of just running straight away. im still tryna learn coach
