A really solid run! I've been attempting for quite a while now with some very close attempts. Excited to see how far the community will push this time down.
"Why aren't there any NPCS?" - In the difficulty "You fall you die" There are no NPC interactions, every unlockable that is acquired is given without need to interact with a character.
"Why the random order of levels?" - The requirements to unlock the next book is just for beating a certain amount of levels. The levels picked were the easiest and quickest for me.

With how much height he gets from flailing his arms back and forth, I like to imagine this Scottish man is actually flapping his arms like a bird for that extra height on each jump

Its a common glitch used in the peaks of yore community where it gives you a small boost in the air each time your arms go back in forth. You can see why this is used commonly. Hope this helped!

I was wondering how the "you fall you die" mode works, is it if you get a blackout from falling too far or falling into water, the run is killed/ you lose the save?

If you blackout from falling from too great of a height on any map, your file is wiped and you must start from the beginning of the game again.

Allow me to ask, have you completed every achievement about free solo mode? After all, the lack of coffee should be able to make a difference for you.

Before I started running the game I completed every achievement including free solo. The only major downside of free solo is not having the pipe which makes the beginning climbs much more annoying. However once you get to great bulwark you have enough equipment for it to not make a difference.

Question, since you didn't do Ymir's Shadow on this, how hard is it compared to bulwark to speedrun?

Ymir's is much easier technically in my opinion over bulwark since most of the climb is straight verticality vs. Bulwark which has alot of pickaxe swapping and riskier jumps.

Once you complete the game on the "You fall You die" difficulty it unlocks!

I was also wondering if you could make a video including good skips and strategy's to doing yfyd mode, especially on the last two peaks. I would love to learn to do this game fast and beat these tough challenges, like free solo :)

@@joshuawalker5793 This run pretty much has all the best skips for the game so I'd watch each individual peak that are giving you difficulty. The last two maps just come down to patience, you got this!

I really love movement and the movement techs in this, and they are def skill based, but a part of me feels like this defeats the purpose of the game and you are basically psuedo flying, like it would probably be even more impressive or interesting to do a speedrun without them. I don't know because I feel like for this game specifically, its not a titanfall, or csgo example where the movement in those games doesnt drastically change the appeal and gameplay loop, it enhances it, while in this you subvert the entire original purpose of the game. that being said for speedrunning it makes tons of sense because very few speedruns look anything like the original gameplay loop, Im not trying to hate in anyway bc this is impressive and does take skill but its just so different than the way you play without that it caught my eye. Anyway I'm done yapping about this, nice WR.
