how do you do the double jump trick at 5:10 and various other segments? almost everything here feels illegal but makes sense except i cant wrap my head around getting that to work

You can join the discord (link in the description of this vid) and ask in the #gameplay-help channel if you want a more in-depth answer, but it's called a coyote jump. Basically if you enter the air without jumping then spin, and jump right as you start spinning, then the game just gives you a second jump because it's giving you coyote frames for some reason lol. And "entering the air without jumping" basically means like walking/sliding off a ledge, hitting a bounce pad (without formally jumping *on to* the bounce pad), getting knocked into the air by hitting a checkpoint (very niche but yeah), etc. That's why I just awkwardly walked on to the bounce pad there.
