yeah I reversed the throttle on the tansmitter and still did nothing but change the trigger direction for forward. I finally got it figured out by flipping both the front and rears diffs. I am not sure why this makes a difference but it straightened it out and I am ripping up the yard now. Thank you for the reply and for helping me make up my mind on the motor. Great job on the vid also.

Agreed! If I could have just one truck it would be a Wraith I think... It's the perfect balance of crawler, scale, and a little bit of basher thrown in... lol

a must have is the 1/4 inch Incision stainless steel 10 piece link kit. adds about a lb of weight and really helps center of gravity. made by Vanquish about $55 shipped and worth every damn penny.

I just got the exact combo in. Why is mine going faster in reverse? I am getting frustrated because i have take this thing apart more than 4 times now and if you could please help I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I have my wraith on a 2 cell with a sensored scorpion 13.5 and stock gearing and mine doesn't seem as fast I also have my motor limited to 17000 rpm though

what kv motor is this?

I'm not 100% sure but if I remember right it's a 2500kv motor. It's the "JS4" combo from Hobbywing/Xerun that came with the motor and ESC together.

i put a 24 tooth pinion in. super fast and jumps really nice now BUT THE BRUSHED MOTOR GETS SUPER HOT. question does this HW kit run hot or cool ? what is operating temps of this setup ? also will it do and have you ran 3s lipo on it ?

I honestly don't remember the specs on this system, my Wraith has been collecting dust for years now... lol I haven't run any of my trucks in a while since the plane stuff took over for good. :) I only ran it on 2S though, and it never ran hot at all, there was plenty of room to push it harder. I can't say if it was rated for 3S or not though, and how it might handle it.
