@@indoom666 - I think your standing so close to the elephant you can't see it. As for your first point, not being able to be cut off from God, here are a few scripture: 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power John 3:3 - Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:36 - He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Isaiah 59:2 - But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. Proverbs 14:12 - There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Matthew 7:6 - Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. Matthew 10:14 - And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. John 15:6 - If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. As to your second point "he wants people to view his form of Christianity, in a group.. claiming he is getting a calling from god and that HE must do it". I know exactly the comment you mean, because when he said I had the same thought... (what ?). I don't think it was meant to be taken as it sounded, hindsight is always 20/20. I think if you read the Great Commission that Jesus has given to all Christians, he is doing exactly that. Spreading the Gospel to all his viewers. I don't think he is saying I am the chosen one and only I can fulfil the prophecy or anything like that. I think he is sharing what he is going through and he is realizing what is truly important in life. What I meant by the elephant analogy is that you are focusing so much on one comment made, you may miss the whole message. If you look at the video on a whole, he is basically saying, I am stepping out of my comfort zone wth KZbin, Im willing to take the ridicule, loss of subscribers, friends and income and whatever else comes, to spread the Gospel. Maybe he is feeling conviction for not doing this as much as he could have in the past. Is it not a good thing that he has the ability to reach 1.8 million people and proclaim the saving grace of Jesus Christ. Is it not a positive thing that people may come to watch a video on homesteading and leave hearing a bit of scripture. He is casting seeds. There are a few biblical issues I do not see eye to eye with him on, but I would hardly call the man a heretic or think he is intentionally trying to mislead people for his own gain. Maybe listen to the whole video again and maybe you will see my points. God Bless my friend.....

Jesus already did call all to himself: "And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me." John 12:32

I also thought about this during the portion where he said you must be called in order to have a relationship. I believe anyone who reaches out to God with genuine intentions and wants to declare his son as their savior and repent of their sins, can have a relationship, I have read much in the gospel to affirm this. I am not sure what he meant by “not everyone can just decide, you must be called” - I love the channel and continue to love it, but I also agree that god’s door is open to all who sincerely approach, all of the time.

It took alot of time, but through many examples I've also learned this. If you directly oppose someone's beliefs in any way, it will reinforce their beliefs. The war in the middle east, certain conflicts in africa, the ancient war between Britain and Ireland...I put it all together and saw that trying to force beliefs on others who hold their own own beliefs creates an eruption of pain, suffering, death, fear ect. It brings about evil in both sides. The attacking side shows their worst side first, then the defending side shows THEIR worst character, and it continues in a cycle. It becomes a cyclone of all things evil.

A couple of thoughts: "By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples indeed, if ye have love one to another." and: "Feed my sheep."
@swen67973 жыл бұрын
1 John 1:7 puts that fellowship in the context of walking in light. Look for my long dissertation as a reply a couple comments above this. Our mitochondria are designed to be gaining their power from electrons derived from sunlight first. If sunlight is present in abundance, the inputs to make ATP from glucose are shut off. Feed my sheep is about light, spiritually as well as physically. Sunlight makes beta-endorphin in us, a non-addictive opiate, that we are designed to seek by God to fill our pleasure receptors. Instead we keep dark days and ruin our nights with light and we turn to addictive sources to fill those receptors. Some even get that dopamine from church activity.

A man that goes without water for days will get so thirsty, that water is the only thing on his mind. He will literally beg for it. Sucking any bit of moisture off anything. But we do not thirst for God in the same way. We will die without him, so why aren't we thirsty for him? We take our daily sip, so we never learn what it means to have our thirst quenched. Several years ago the Lord started speaking to our family. We denied Him because we didn't want to give up what we worked so hard to build. Short story is, we sold our entire farm and uprooted our family 4000 miles away from everything and everyone we know and love. We encountered a lot of ridicule and hatefulness, even by those who where closest to us. Quietly in scripture one day wrestling with my pride, as us men do, the Holy Spirit said to me, you're a good and faithful servant... or you're not. God be with you and yours!

All distractions. I think that's why bushcraft and camping appeals to me and many others. It's a way to get away from the "cacophony of sound" that blocks that "still, small voice" of God in our ear.
