I’m running the Type R with that “odd” angle and I love it. It actually has a little bit of rake over how it normally fits and I think it looks great. It’s nothing outrageous and is OEM styled but in my opinion, that tiny bit of rake gives it great character. I’ve been running that for months now and have had no issues at all with how it sits. It’s secure and does not vibrate or become unstable at highway speeds. Highly recommend running that.

Really good job with the wrap! Question about those headlights. When they crack finding replacements seem to be overly expensive. Any idea on how to replace the clear plastic on a budget? Or maybe downgrading to regular civic lights since those are more normally priced?

you need a jdm rear trunk, but if you want to keep the type r spoiler then you'll need to trim part of the spoiler make it sit flush

I ran a Type R spoiler on mine but it needed a bit of modification to the underside. If you google it, there's a bunch of posts on forums with useful guides that show you how and where to cut the spoiler.

You should look into liquid wraps. Like spray painting but it’s vinyl wrap

When I had my Si, even tho the type r wing is a nice jdm touch, I was always a fan of the Mugen Style spoiler, MG Style!

The type r spoiler needs to be modified for euro ep2 and usa Si models to fit the rear glass its easy to modify the spoiler or just order a ep3 type r rear hatch or window and then it will fit flush

I couldn’t tell by the video but for type R wings you have to trim those raised parts on the underside on the ends. It won’t sit perfect but it will be better. There’s some old write ups on the forums I just cut my wing and didn’t put any cushioning.

I have an ep3 and that type r spoiler. I used a dremil sand/file down the high points and she sits flush. Def dont leave the OEM with all the other type r goodies. Looks funny but overall dope video

Cut the wing, it's the same with the EP2s. Remove those small bottom parts and puts some foam between the plastic and the window to prevent them banging on each other.

you could do some custom work on that JDM wing and fill in that space to be more flush. Foam and fiberglass!

I used to have two of these, love ep3s... If I recall correctly you need to trim that jdm wing in both sides in order to get it to fit better ... I honestly don't understand why Honda wouldn't use the same hatch in all models so this wing would fit perfectly

The reason the rear wing doesn't fit is the civic ep3 type r rear hatch glass is completely different to the civic si and standard models
