Wrapping The New Tethrd Skeletor Stick With Stealth Strips

I just bought my first set of climbing sticks, You say how easy it is, but I learned so much watching you. There are at least a dozen tiny but meaningful lessons in this video. Could I have done it without watching? Yes. But you saved me from numerous less than desired outcomes. My first attempt will be so much better now.

I had Stealth Strips on my Lone Wolf sticks years ago and they worked great and lasted. I just got my Skeletors and will probably get some for them. As far as disassembling goes I wouldn’t advise that. We who bought those sticks have received new longer bolts from Tethrd that hold the rope attachment on, the original bolts hold with very few threads, the new longer bolts add three threads if you can get them bolted tight, I could only do three bolts due to the depth of the Dyna Clip. With my experience with Stealth Strips in the past they use a very superior adhesive and will hold great without disassembling the sticks.

I wrapped my one sticks and my skeletors with a roll of camo duct tape. didn’t remove anything and they came out beautiful. It’s very simple. Nice video.

Well done Lou! I stopped by the Tethrd booth at the Minnesota Deer & Turkey Classic show this week end and told Ernie about this great video you made. He had not seen it yet. Can you please add a section to your website for Skeletor Stick Stealth Strips? In the meantime I'll put in an order for them under the "Custom Cuts" section.

Adam, we appreciate the support. They are a custom cut for now, and as you may know Tethrd has some Stealth Strips kits cut specifically for their equipment, the Predator Platform, their One Stick, and their own custom Stealth Strips roll size. Since they are so good to us, we will give them a chance to pick this up before we race it out. They may want it tweaked like they did on the One Stick. We will let that play out first.
