Wrapping up December with Amtrak Day 1 and a good cold snowy start to 2025

First up we have Amtrak 301 in the Day 1 scheme at Rivermont bridge heading North after its first (That I’m aware of)visit to Roanoke Va. Then we catch a short CSX train entering Lynchburg Va. On a visit to South Yard in Roanoke Va to see the 1071 on 50X we see a double up 40N breaking up its train. Then NS 119 enters the North Yard. Amtrak 151 with a brand new Charger 367 arriving at the station. Next we catch the reverse move of 151. Then 40N heads to Shaffers Crossing with one of its DPU’s and 7309 that it picked up in E3 South yard. Then 746 heading to Blews Creek departed. And finally an extra V81 heads towards Buchanan Va with NS 6920 leading the way.
