I love your hand movements Joseph, never stop being yourself. You're adorable 🥰

Right Kesha! Now I'm really going to have to troll the comment sections, so I can drag people that keep trying to come for Joseph and Nick! 😠😤😡 I always watch and enjoy - I can't think of one time when I thought: oh, he moves his hands...

Fellow hand talker, and it's soothing to see youbuse your hands in these reviews. Makes you relatable if that makes sense? Anyway, it's you. Be you. Great job as always, Nick & Joseph!

First of all ... great review as always. I always learn some film history from your reviews. When a revenge movie is stylish and also has somewhat of an absurd premise, I find it fun to watch. Because it's "cool" and it's not real. When I saw one of the trailers for this, I was so blown away by the music! I looked up the words "always be a good boy, don't ever play with guns..." And imagine my surprise when I saw it was Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison Blues! I hadn't remembered how fabulous the original was(!) ... and I loved the way they mixed his song, and his echoing voice into the trailer music(!). Two great versions of the same music. It was like a fabulous music video. It's not the red band trailer. It's the trailer that ends with Stratham saying: "But I do bear a grudge." You know ... in that accent of his. Love it. I began to really like Statham when I saw him opposite Melissa McCarthy in the comedy "Spy". He played a rash, gone rogue, but somewhat bumbling spy. I really liked his sense of humor and that he was ok with playing such a funny role. Although the trailer is like a mini movie, I WILL watch this one. And also, half the world talks with their hands!! WTF? (Pardon my French). But seriously, that is absurd criticism from a troll. Do not listen to it!!! So there! I ❤ you guys!! 🥰

I just saw this at AMC IMAX, and I must say, I thought it was amazing. The musical score was gripping and perfect. I felt like a kid again when I would come from watching my favorite action movies in the 80s. Statham was fantastic as an action star, calm, cool in that Statham kind of way. Loved it. So happy movie theaters are back open from COVID.

Great video. Joseph has a great point about H's code of honor. This film is about a bad guy dealing with worse guys.
@joanneblack76973 жыл бұрын
I knew a "bad guy" who did have a code like this ... don't drag civilians and especially kids(!) into your bad antics. He was scary, but true to his code. I did respect him more than the type who didn't care about that stuff at all.

Just saw this earlier today and like Nick, I was quite surprised by how much I liked it! It's been a while since I thoroughly enjoyed a Guy Ritchie movie. The way the story was split up into chapters, out of order, reminded me heavily of Tarantino, though considerably less stylized. I think some stuff could have been condensed for the sake of time, but it was still pretty solid! Also I tend to talk with my hands as well, sometimes without realizing it haha. But it adds to the review! 😬

1:20 I hope that my comment about your hands being beautiful doesn't count as a detractor. Yes, the movement draw attention to them but I see nothing wrong with it. It is part of your self expression. You fiddle all you want - especially when it's punctuating what u're articulating. It's not like u're biting ur nails or something. PS: This brought back some memories from kindergarten days during the communist era when we were supposed to sit in our chairs with the hands behind our backs lol

Pretty good how they explain just enough of the finer details and not spoon-feed the audience every single element. Also how they show nuance in humanizing the gang of vets before seeing them in the film's climax. I felt bad for the sergeant's family as you know the heartbreaking aftermath of the film's events is not shown and is left to the audience imagination.

I was really let down by the fact that what seemed like it was going to be a detective story as he went through checking his co-workers background, instead we got back-stories that were way too long and therefore cut away any time from the detective work. The moment that we learned who Mole was and especially how the audience is delivered the news was a real letdown. From then on i couldn't take it seriously and just the last bit of action.

I felt the same , didn't care an ounce about H and his revenge quest ( Also, the fact that his ex-wife despise him makes me think he's not very nice guy beside being a certified criminal himself) yep overall didn't care about any character which made it very boring for him . big disappointment .
@hankkingsley91833 жыл бұрын
Movie really suffered from a total lack of character development and backstory. Literally no effort was made in this area. Even in an action movie you need to build characters so the audience has some empathy for them.

Yeah Joe you talk over Nick SOOOOO much. I get Nick delivers on more of a technical note when you go for the synopsis part but after watching 20 vids of you two Joe doesn't contribute anything really. He's just the more confident spoken one. But provides no insight, granted you reign Nick in when he goes off on a tangent but you never seem to understand the plot, or actually describe things accurately, just a REALLY vague over view.
@thehigherevolutionary3 жыл бұрын
You can feel free to comment about the movie being reviewed, but no one wants to read your trash about Joseph/Nick. They have an excellent dynamic that their real audience greatly enjoys. Be sure to subscribe though, so the next time they drop a video asking for opinions about the show you can comment like the DICKens.
@alexandrasandu39473 жыл бұрын
If u only want Nick's opinions, go watch his reviews on IONCINEMA channel and leave Joseph be. Most of the subs are here exactly b/c we like them just the way they are. Their dynamic is what makes them unique (plus spoilers). They created this channel as a way to bring Joseph into this major part of Nick's life. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Zni5mq2rfNGKmJI
