These guys had the heaviness of Metallica, the musicianship of Megadeth, the melody of Iron Maiden, the blues of AC/DC, the diverse lyrical content of 1980s Anthrax, and the off kilter experimentation of Faith No More. They definitely should have been a lot more well known.

I was a young black kid who played guitar and went to heavy metal shows. although I love the nineties era of music more than the eighties I really love this band and others of the thrash era. but mostly this band because they weren't effects shy and afraid to mix their music like most restrain thrash metal bands were. And I remember seen them before they got a contract with Atlantic I also took pictures with them and still have them to this day . Lord they were great musician and I still wish they kept the ball rolling.

I thought of this band in the middle of the night/early morning hours and about how much their music rules! I had this CD back in the day, and I'm so glad for Spotify so I can listen to them again. Saw these guys in 1987 at The Silver Dollar Saloon in Lansing, Michigan. They were fired that first night because they were too heavy and too fast. Ex-girlfriend and I partied with the band and about a hundred others at a cheap motel. The party was broken up by the motel's one-armed manager wielding a shotgun. Ah, those amazing 1980s!

One night my oldest sister told me to pick two cassette tapes of whatever I wanted. I ended up picking Wrathchild America's Climbin The Walls album and Loudness Hurricane Eyes album. I fell in love with both albums the first time I listened to both of them. Thirty years later I still listen to them both one after the other because I have amazing memories of both them. I just got the remastered version of Climbin The Walls album that Rock Candy did today and it sounds PHENOMENAL!! The sound on it has always been great, but it did need the remastered treatment. It sounds better than ever.
