WRC 10 - 4 Rally Stages

4 stages in different languages. Keep in mind I don't know these tracks (no more than 3 attempts), but I did my best! I'm driving on PC with all graphics settings set on "Ultra". Enjoy!

TBH the game quality is really not that great. Like the whole WRC series hasn't changed much sense 8 and the car model's are really bad quality. I think if you really want to have fun rallying BeamNG is a good place and if you are looking for mods and customazation richard burns rally is really good. I think WRC just needs a big update in the next game or I think its not going to end well

I absolutely love this game, and thats coming from a dirt-dirt rally player since the very 1st one. This is my 1st wrc game and man idk what i was doing just blinded by the dirt rally community saying wrc is trash. Maybe the previous titles are bad but wrc10 is so good, yes the car sounds are pretty poor but everything else is so good, graphics are great, cars look great and the stages omg they really keep you engaged! So much going on and heaps of variety. When i play dirt rally i get bored half way down a stage bcoz they are so plain, all you see most of the times is trees. Theres nothing more satisfying than doing 200kph down the long straight of kenya under the sun, so gorgeous!! And the dynamic weather is great too, this game looks fantastic in the rain.

In 93/94 I owned a 81 Chevy Malibu, which was RWD, that I drove in the snow of Canada. Even with snow tires I could easily drift corners and pull doughnuts on a dime🤣.

This game is fun but how far off dirt rally it is is glaring on monte carlo, hit ice and theres barely any grip change it just becomes abit more rear end happy, rwd cars seem to slide more but it's still not much! On dirt rally you hit the ice sections at the top of the col and even with 4wd and snow tyres your sliding around at a snail's pace, put dry tyres on and it's just a wheel spin fast and in rwd cars you can barely get above 30mph without it trying to swap ends, it's so much more realistic I'm glad codies won the licence, the new hybrid rally1 cars with that game engine will be a whole new level 👌

is it all right to go from the 5th gear straight to the 1st (just like in 7:45), wouldn't it damage the gearbox?

It would, yes. But this game doesn't properly model an H-pattern transmission. To be honest, none of the main rally sims do. DR2.0 or RBR also don't model it properly.

no, it wont damage the gearbox as long as you wait till your speed is low enough for first gear before you let off the clutch

I often jump gears on the vehicles I drive normally (cars and vans): it's not an issue as long as you're on the right speed once the lower/higher gear is engaged I drive a big van that has very short gears so I often go 2-4-5 instead of 2-3-4-5 (1st is borderline useless) and I often go 5-3 or 5-4-2 if I know where I'm going

For the Monte-Carlo, you could've just use the mixte tyres, because you can choose your tyres before the stage

You’ve set your steering wheel very… big in turns, at least in the 205. Could you do a video on your steering settings? Ffb settings and such as well! Personally, I have very sensitive, small steering. 180-360 degrees. Sometimes I’ll use full 900 for games such as My Summer Car or other genuine legal road driving ish stuff. But for racing I’m always driving sensitive. G29 user btw.

In WRC 10 or 9 I play with hood view. Beacuse it`s to dark for me from inside a car. Why there is no gammma correction. I can`t understand it.

Do you find the new thrustmaster nicer than t300? I heard tgt feels more cogged than t300 is that true? Like more power but less smooth wonder if tgt2 firmware tweaks finally make it more worthwhile than t300 thrustmaster is best directx api wheel i think do you know if the new TMdd will use same wheel rim connection?

i am not sure if this game really simulates tyre wear. My impression is more like it's hard-coded "at this point of the track >> tyre wear = 90%" or something like that. No matter how i drive, i have always the same wear (or much more than the AI)

If you search for Better physics yes. If you search Better car sounds sounds and Better graphics, go with dirt rally 2.0

It is not just you, I still keep spinning in hairpins after 3 years of playing WRC 7. I just cannot figure out why. In WRC 7 the German sounds way more natural than in WRC 10!

This mans speaks like 1mill languages but German ain’t one of them? I thought German would be an easy language. Like to me at least cuz I only speak one language and that’s English (welllll more of broken English lol) and to me I could understand the numbers, left, right, asphalt, and a few more words like they jus sounded like harsher English words mixed with spit and hatred. (To be fair tho I do listen to a lot of German music so that may be the reason but I can’t understand Spanish nor Korean but I listen to reggaeton and K-POP. Wow honestly thought you could. Makes me think what’s the easiest language to learn/understand to most people.
