You have to actually play this game to understand how terrible the handling is. The visuals are nice but the gameplay ruined this otherwise cool looking game.

Italians most likely did not feel the need for all-wheel drive until the mid-80s. Their lancia moved very agile, although the absolute amount of grip was small. It was only after they saw a perfectly moving Peugeot, not an Audi with a heavy understeer.

And there were funny cheats, spacing from jelly cars to Micromachines quote, with the codriver becoming something like a squirrel
